Meridian - I wish you'd have stitched me after dd1!!! Surgeon wasn't nearly as neat as you!! (obviously minus the flower and button tho )

meridian - i love that brooch i looked and was most to find i had no suitable button but that one looks great - some horrible horrible person has bought the entire button tin from my local charity shop - i feel and and [note to self get a life]

it's fairly easy to manage the kids and sleeping dp really - he sleeps in the attic so lots of distance between us and him!!

to be honest other peoples kids are easier to look after than your own!! my ds is a little monkey and quite wild - i think the other c/m's look at us like this !!! the mindee's are angels till pick-up then they go crazy and we go out loads lots of fresh air come rain or shine -
IMO muddy kid = happy kid!!!!

have just had a yummy scrummy delivery of embroidery thread, lovely colours.

i have a huge collection of stranded cotton from anchor, which i started off using, but splitting it down to 2 strands, it keeps tangling, so am giving pearl cotton 12 a try, already have a load of pearl cotton 8, but have just got a load of browns, greens, turquoise and pinks to top up my supply.

god you are a chatty bunch the last day or two, will take me ages to catch up on everything (and am at work so can't now, really I can't, big boss is coming for meeting with me any minute now, so obviously I am on here - my mind works in mysterious (even to me) ways)

I have announced the winner of my fabric heart (would deffo recommend a giveaway - got loads more comments than usual and found lots of lovely new blogs) and put a mosaic of our suffolk trip up here...you'll need bionic eyes to see it though

Casting off is harder than the actual knitting?!? Is that right or am I doing it wrong. My first knitted craft work will be available for viewing shortly . . . will let you all know so you can go and get your tena ladies on. Because you will p^$% yourselves laughing!!!

I've still got bugger all done but that may hae something to do with looking at craft blogs all morning
I've looked at some lovely brit ones.
In fact they've inspired me to get out my tea set lol.

thank you for the lovely compliments... the brooch hasn't got a back yet... but it will when i can dig one out... i have not tidied up much at all but have found in a box of books that FIL gave us some kids craft books a ladybird book of "things to make" I CANT SEE A DATE OTHER THAN first printed in 1963.. so very vintage (sorry about the cap lock) I thought you all might like that.. will take a picture later but ds is now laying with his head on my lap half asleep watching peppa pig...

I've saved down all the pictures of our Easter swaps and will try to add an entry to OUR blog so that they can all be seen

I've added the entry but as the pics are saved on the Yahoo group that Whizz set up YONKS ago I don't know if everybody has access. If not I'll put them on photobucket.

If I knew how to put them all together into 1 photo then I'd add that to the entry too - but my IT skills aren't that great!!
