GM et al - I too have had a couple of nights out in Chelmsford though I was a posh bird and went to Chicagos and then finished the night off with a curry spring roll from the chippie next door (heaven). I was also a huge fan of the first 3/4 seasons of X-files then went right off it when Scully went a bit Mulder. Lurved Northern Exposure for ages. Twin Peaks was my fave though. I used to sit in my brothers room and watch on his telly.
Whizz - I'd like to say that I'd say can I have beads like we agreed, but I know I'd go all British polite say thank you very much for the jewellery then unpick it all and keep the beads!!
As for my 'crafting' mmmmm this knitting lark aint as easy as them old grannies make it look is it!! I'm gonna keep trying though. But for now I think I need a lie down feeling really rather ropey tonight.

oh well i'll have to make do with desperate housewives at 10pm

oh meridian - i love boxed sets but i find it very hard to not just siot and watch a whole series in one sitting!!! we watched the complete boxed set of "peep show" at christmas time and we are awfull if we get a set of "lost" surviving on minimal sleep!!!

Think I'm going to lurk on the outskirts of this thread for a few days till I see what's what.
Just to tell you all a little bit about me though - I'm responsible for 4 kids, this being my full time job. I enjoy almost all crafty - in other words, messy - things. I mainly do knitting, cross stitch and card making.
I've just started a blog - will post link when I have some stuff on it.
My current project is a clown shelf sitter for my youngest (10 weeks) which will hopefully be finished and stuffed tomorrow so I can start something new.
