Meri I ish I had the excuse of being in the bath not to take a delivery.
Oh how nice it would be to have an undisturbed soak in the bath, lol.

Dizzy the bunny is great!

I had perfect craft time yesterday and used most of it starring at a piece of fabric for an hour wondering what to do!
In the end I made some jewellery.
I'm going to put pics on when Ethans finished his feed.

Another mnetter has asked me to make her dd a doll and i get a free haircut and colour for it

I am waiting very (im)patiently for my needle felting stuff to arrive, so in the meantime I am trying to finish off a poncho for dd2 (I have no chance) and a hat for me to go with my nicky epstein scarf (slightly more likely as it's a quick knit). I've also been adding some inspirational links to my blog

Meri I haven't signed up for the vintage swap as I'm clueless in that area - but very interested to see what people do!

nbg- DH disturbed me anyway as he did the shopping and was shouting me to come put everything away... had to take a bath as the shower leaks through to the kitchen below... lovely...

miaou- oh come join the swap... you are very talented... you could knit something in a vintage style... a vintage 20's hat or something to that effect... or just find some vintage style materials to send to your partner... will be closing the swap soon and letting DS pick pairs out of a hat.

loft ladder men have just left... and it cost £110 less than we were quoted how good is that... coffee then cleaning I say...

Right once again can someone tell me, very very simply, how to do a link on my blog without the whole address coming up.
I tried both Lucykates and Gingermonkeys ways and neither worked. But thats probably because I wasnt doing it properly.

Its annoying the hell out of me.

as for the linking

write out the word say

kitten

then highlight kitten and click on the link icon on top of the blogger post window.. it looks like a little green ball with a chain link on it... then another little window should pop up to put the addy in.

thats where i went wrong. i didn't highlight the word before i put the address in.

No crafting (still got to post the photos of GMs make on my blog), had job interview today, funeral on Thursday, so once all that's out of the way, I shall be getting stuck in again!

Sorry GW , but on the downside I am always blooming freezing (like one of those shivery whippets you see stood outside shops)
And highwaisters look a bugger on me - so not fair, because I keep seeing really fab ones, I try them on, look in the mirror, dh pi$$e$ himself laughing, I take them off and walk away muttering

Lol at the clothes/whippet thing (sorry GM, shouldn't laugh really, I'm the same!). I've been busy with the needles again, pics of my new hat here and also a poncho I have started for dd2. I should now be vacuuming and doing the washing up from lunch - I am on strike!

Oh, and my felting stuff arrived today - yippee! However the needles look absolutely lethal and I need to collect some more wool tops from my friend's house where they are still in storage so am not diving in to it yet.
