Chatsworth opens next week I think if anyone intrested in a spring country crafts meet ... should be round till the end of the first week of April when we fly to san francisco!

right best go dissapear and have a family day out... before i break the news to DH that I have to go cloths and bra shopping.. the washer ate my best bra.. yes I know hand wash blah bla.. does anyone actually do that?

I finished a cardi and hat for my friend's baby (will blog later, have to tidy house now)...she had it early (how inconsiderate! ) so I haven't managed to do the little quilt I wanted to, might do it today if the poxy kids (literally) don't disturb me too much. How I wish I had more crafting time...

off to a party this afternoon with the brooches I made for DD2's little friend - hope she likes them...there will be fireworks when DD1 (the current pox victim) realises she can't go too...

in the meantime I escaped quarters to drop my bike in for a service yesterday and went awol for about 2 hours looking in charity shops (HUGE queues in the bike shop dear ), got some great skirts with fab fabric for chopping up but not a woolen feltable jumper to be found

how did yours turn out NBG?

WHizz - I missed the PO by 4 minutes yesterday (they closed at 12.30 and I thought it was 1pm) so I will get parcel in post tomorrow from work...

Hi everyone, sorry not been around much- lots of creativity going on...makes me feel ashamed of myself.

Happy Birthday GM, us Pisceans are suppose to be crafty aren't we! I must get around to taking pics of the handcrafted cards I recieved, but I stuck them up on the patio doors to show them off, and before I thought of it!

I've got some birthday money to spend, might spend half on myself and half on crafting...haven't decided yet!

Has anyone seem Champs please? I have emailed her via the addy I was given, and left messages on the Easter Swap thread but I haven't heard back...I need to get her details to post of her swappy gift!!! I just need to get another thing crossed off my list!!

Must get on, I have to do a report for DDs In School Review tomorrow, then make a card, and in between help hubby with the new kitchen worktops!

Happy Birthday to Dingle too - for yesterday. It was my friend's birthday yesterday, and another friend's today - so we are obviously the best people in the world, aren't we?

I sold another doll - what the blooming heck is going on???? It's like buses...nothing comes forever and then a million come at once!!!

I got some amazing goodies. Dh got me 2 cushions from the rug company (Vivienne Westwood ones), I got loads of Cath Kidston goodies from people, a crochet flowers kit (I will master it, I will, I will!), DD got me loads of stuff from etsy (so well trained it's unbelievable!), the rob ryan book, some cash, and lots of other bits and bobs. I think I did better than ever this year!!!

I have just come back from Chester Bead Fair. I was very good though and didn't splurge tooooooo much. I took great delight in rummaging through as many SALE baskets as I could & got a few bargains. I just need some dedicated sit down beading time now.

Just got back from a 4th b'day party with an entertainer called 'Fred in the Shed'. If anyone is in the Berkshire/ Hampshire area, he is very good. With both the kids and adults.

Me & my friends hubby were nattering away and got into trouble for making too much noise so we got soaked with one of Freds puppets.
Then he made my friends dh stand up and squirted water on the front of his trousers and then shouted 'Ooh look, he's weed himself'.

How embarrassed were we - needless to say we stopped talking so loudly

gosh everyone has been so busy and I have.. er made cupcakes again.. whilst avoiding the bit of felt i have done in fear of messing it up when i attempt to cut into it.

had to share this, just checked my blogs sitemeter and someone has done a google search on 'do you use strap on for husband' , my blog came up 10th in the list, links to when i made a bag out of dh's old trousers because i mention the word strap (meaning bag strap) and husband in the same sentence!

Am currently crocheting an owl for dd, (got to use up the rest of my toy stuffing) and hurrah, me and dh sorted (cleared out) all of the dcs stuff from the living room. So it looks like a proper adult space now. And am trying to prep for my forthcoming interview, do you think I ought to take my crochet as a calming technique while I am waiting?

Fubsy, I owe you an apology, I posted on the MN blog earlier today and I have posted as YOU! I don't know what I did wrong (well I do, I didn't create my own profile, but couldn't work out how to either ), please excuse me for being so inept ... (and if anyone feels like holding my hand through doing it properly, then do let me know!)

I enjoyed making my lion slippers so much that tonight I decided to branch out and am now making a pair of zebra ones! That's my challenge for the week I think.

miaou, it isn't anything you've done, we've all been posting as fubsy. i think what has happened, is, if you go onto the mn group blog and look at the profile, it is fubsy's profile that appears, instaed of a general group one. i didn't change it as was worried that fubsy's profile would disappear all together, may need meri's advice on this, she may know whats happened as meri set up the blog
