d - yes i did , you didn't have to you know!, lovely hand made card btw!.

i haven't ever worked out a price for the cats, but i am toying with the idea of starting an etsy shop next year to sell the odd thing.

Tillyboo · 26/09/2007 16:00

You should, they are really lovely ! I'm sure you'd do really well with them as cats are so popular.

Good luck !

hi, seem to have spent the last few days doing nothing but wet combing. dd had a crop of eggs, no lice though, but have literally done everything that moves with that barbed wire thingy nitty gritty comb, nothing in my hair >>she says while scratching

Gingermonkey · 28/09/2007 11:39

The shouting worked, LK!!!!

Ooooh, how amazing is that?!

Gingermonkey · 28/09/2007 11:42

LK, my link doesn't work tho (but I'm too excited to care really!!!!)

Whizzz · 28/09/2007 12:52

LucyK & Ginger WOW !!
There are some lovely things on that site!

LucyK - your email's not come through as yet (you need the underscore after the zzz in case it's gone astray)

lucykate · 28/09/2007 13:25

whizzz haven't sent it yet , will do this evening, dc's both off to hospital in a bit for eye tests

gm, i noticed your link wasn't working, email therese, i'm sure she won't mind fixing it

Gingermonkey · 28/09/2007 13:39

thanks LK, I have just sent her one (felt a bit cheeky - but you suggested it too, lol!)

Hope the DCs eyes are ok.

lucykate · 28/09/2007 13:46

i'm sure she won't mind, i've emailed her a couple of times in the past when she featured one of my owls

dc's eyes fine, they both have a check up every 3 months as both have squints and wear glasses (ds won't wear his though)

have you seen on there every year she holds the softie awards, this year she's doing a christmas themed competition, there are rules/catagories in one of her posts, i think the closing date is in october. you just enter, then from a shortlist, its voted for by other bloggers etc. you should think about entering, i've got too much on atm otherwise i would be doing something for it.

Gingermonkey · 28/09/2007 15:59

LK, yes, I have seen the contest already, and am going to enter (I've started a christmassy horse because SIL wants one anyway, so it can kill 2 birds with 1 stone!). I seem to have a mountain of stuff to do, but don't seem to be getting very far with anything because I get distracted by something else, lol! I even forgot to write a list yesterday so I think I'll do that now and stick to it!

My DD had a squint when she was little so she went to the hospital and they couldn't find anything wrong, (typically) after that hospital appt it disappeared!!!! I know one of mine will end up being speccy, I'm as blind as a bat, lol!

Tillyboo · 28/09/2007 19:42

Hello,

I've finally managed to get round to stuffing Fat Cat and have finished another horse, Pink Milly, for a friends little girl's new bedroom.

You can take a look here or in my profile.

Pink Milly was a little fiddly as I've used 3 difference fabrics and she's lined too. She has a special rosette with a jewelled button centre. Very girly !

The photo's are a bit pale I'm afraid.

I'm trying to think up some Xmas decs to make for next week better get my thinking cap on me thinks ....

Lovely Dior. The cross-stitch of your grandmother is amazing, how did you manage that ?

I have set up a blog now as I was feeling left out . Most people seem to have one and they all look so great so I ventured in too.

Have a good weekend everyone !

dior - , the peacock, that's a project and a half!!, you are a very accomplished stitcher

i have to admit at coats, i designed but didn't stitch, they use outworkers to do that. the christmas set is really sweet.

anyone blogging, i would recommend this book. 17 prolific craft bloggers all talking about what they do plus some projects, well worth reading
