I am in chaos here with the extension going on . I have moved my stash to it's new home but it is in complete turmoil!!!!
I have been trying to keep afloat in the school hols but my crafting has taken a nose dive.
I am attempt to "be prepared" does anyone fancy joining me in a weekly challenge for Xmas cards and maybe even a few pressies?

Right, I will start. I didn't send any Christmas Cards out last year because I was about to give birth and nothing else seemed important at the time.

This year I have set myself a challenge, to send some.

Some will be shop bought but some will be personalised.

What are we going for in this challenge.

Is it Childrens cards

Mothers

Fathers

or can we have categories??????

Gingermonkey · 07/09/2007 07:45

UCM, i think we are having a general free for all crafty challenge! So you can do whatever takes your fancy. Whizzz is doing beady things, I am making christmas decorations and toys for presents. My progress on the decoration front is here

Pixiefish · 07/09/2007 07:56

I'm in a similar position to UCm last year- 8 weeks to go till B day and not my birth day. Is your dd really nearly 1 UCM.

By some odd fluke I made 5 cards yesterday- but just ordinary ones not Christmas- shall be buying those I think although I have seen some lush Rusty Pickle papers fro Christmas- guess they'll be for Layouts later

JARM · 07/09/2007 08:01

I have a problem. I dragged out the pizza box full of all my Christmas stuff and it's all too nice to waste on Christmas cards! [pout]

I'm not sure I know enough special people who deserve cards made with it!

Whizzz · 07/09/2007 20:16

You could always use the cloggy stuff ...or I do still have some lovely silouhettes I could spare.....

SoupDragon · 07/09/2007 20:17

Snort!

Those silhouettes are still in the catalogue you know!

Pixiefish · 08/09/2007 08:47

Whizzz · 08/09/2007 10:00

Well done for the organisation

We could use our profiles to display pics or a picture trail if you have one rather than a Yahoo page. Is that a good option do you think ?

Gingermonkey · 08/09/2007 10:57

Yes, I can link to my blog (I'm so modern nowadays!!!!!) or I have flickr as well....options, options!!!

Dingle · 08/09/2007 12:28

Does everyone have a pic.trail/blog..or someway of showing their progress?

OP posts:
Pixiefish · 08/09/2007 14:08

whizz- i think your idea of putting pics on the profile is fab

Not sure but using the Yahoo site doesn't someone need to moderate it all rather than us all just controlling our individual pics.

I have never used my profile do you need to resize your pics, I don't seem very lucky with that.
