Am going to order the Animal Magic book from Amazon. It looks like it would be nicer to do with markers for brighter colours. These are recommended in the Amazon reviews. Are they worth it?

Thanks!

Thanks alovelytrainSmile. I got the staedtler ergo soft 24, I like them though I tend to press quite hard so I don't think they will last too long.

Shannaratiger can you post a pic? I'm struggling to visualise what they would look like Smile

Wagglebee · 08/06/2015 17:12

001 Colouring club?

I'm fancying the staedtler set of 24 now too. Do they need the triangle sharpener?

Everyone's pics look amazing. Very impressed by the shading.

TheTravellingLemon · 08/06/2015 17:25

That looks lovely binary. Fine liners might be next on my list I think.

I don't know about the sharpener. I bought one because it was that or my make up one Grin, but suppose you can use any.

00100001 · 08/06/2015 17:33

Yes, I'm starting a colouring club at the secondary school I work at in September :)

Mindfulness and all that Grin

00100001 · 08/06/2015 17:35

i had to use 3mm fineliners (they were all that was in lost property Grin so the filling in the big areas is a bit... rubbish in places.

but it's all good, it's all part of the examples i will put up. my colleague is colouring in some chibi super-heroes - he's really enjoying it!

I want it to be the 22nd so I can have my 120 box of pencils.

Maybe I can sleep until then so it goes quicker? Grin

My daughter stole my cheap colouring book I found in Hobbycraft! Not impressed. She is not getting her hands on my Animal Kingdom.

Wagglebee · 08/06/2015 20:46
Grin

001 That's a brilliant idea. I'd have loved that at school. I'd love it now Grin.

TheTravellingLemon · 08/06/2015 20:58

First picture done. Moving onto number 2. Why didn't I do this sooner?

LadyBaelish · 08/06/2015 22:45

Ordered a Tiffany designs and a Japanese wood block colouring book yesterday on amazon - can't wait!!! I tried 4 book shops in dublin yesterday, all sold out or a very limited range. Did anyone else feel a bit Blush asking for the books? I thought one sales assistant was a tad head-tilty HmmGrin

Bought the 24 box Faber polychrome. I love to just look at them in the box!! Hurry up Amazon!! Please post more pics colourering MNers - gorgeous!!

TheSultanofPing · 09/06/2015 08:46

I have just looked on ebay and you can get them for £119.75 plus free p&p.
They are from the same supplier that I bought the 60 tin from at £57.75. Speedy delivery and well packaged in bubble wrap.

valrhona · 09/06/2015 08:47
