Title says it all really.
Tell me about the lovely things you have been making, any craft. Pictures/Ravelry links would be great.
I like to crochet but I've found myself in a bit of a rut and want to be inspired and find some motivation to make something, even if its a totally different craft.

Made the dog version of the sock dragon and he is insufferably cute.

I am hoping that the partner to DS1s green odd sock doesn't turn up.

OMDB - apart from being Envy at how slim you are - I think body fabric is lovely, maybe needs a plain fabric with it and a little less frill-like-ness at the bottom - but definitely not bedlinen and definitely impressive!

stealthsquiggle · 16/08/2011 14:25

Dog is exceptionally cute.

pollyteapot · 16/08/2011 16:03

Soup Dragon - they are especially cute socks! I love them

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 16/08/2011 17:13

I now have all of mum's patchwork fabrics (all 9 bagfuls of it) put away in a cupboard, waiting for me to sort it all out.

I am considering making a flared skirt out of strips of lots of different fabrics from the collection - I'm thinking if I make the strips wider at the bottom than the top, and maybe let in triangles of fabric from about half-way down, to make a sort of patchwork skirt - iyswim.

Hello all, enjoying keeping up with everything you guys are making. Here are a few things I've been busy with.

queenmaeve · 20/08/2011 17:38

I just finished this little table

dizzyday07 · 21/08/2011 09:29

Sewing fanatics - Here's my latest make Little baby tiptoe sandles!

You can find the pattern under the baby section at www.madebymarzipan.com

They were so fun to make :)

pollyblue · 22/08/2011 21:35

I've made four A3 size stained glass panels in the last year.

I'm completely crap at knitting/sewing/crocheting but I love glasswork.

queenmaeve · 23/08/2011 22:51

wow pollyblue, stained glass sounds impressive! did you do specialist training for that?

clickncraft, those little shoes are so sweet! I left you a comment and am following you.

queenmaeve · 23/08/2011 22:55

Dilly, I love your blog. You have made some lovely things. I will be back for another visit soon!

pollyblue · 23/08/2011 23:27

queenmaeve I'm currently studying at college, the panels were all projects as part of my course.....I now need to start expanding beyond A3 size ones!

I'm obsessed by it, it's my passion. Anyone can start, any time - an art degree is useful but not necessary. Only requirement is you need to be able to stand the sight of blood, you will cut yourself! I do it all the time.... Smile

queenmaeve · 24/08/2011 00:26

I'm sure they are beautiful. Do you have any photos?

Clickncraft · 24/08/2011 10:26

Queenmaeve - thank you for your comments on my blog, I get very few so am always excited when some lovely person decides to leave one :)

I love the dresser you made and the laundry room tidy. I'm going to post the link to it here. Mumsnetters - you really need to see this little gem of a project if haven't already! Super cute idea :)

pollyblue · 24/08/2011 15:28

queenmaeve, I've put photos of my last two on my mumsnet profile.

pollyblue · 24/08/2011 21:22

sorry, last three......Smile

euromum · 25/08/2011 11:09

Hello crafting ladies! Can I join in?

I'm a longtime mumsnet lurker but I haven't posted much for a (very long) while. But I'd love to have an excuse to chat with some like minds! And I've been having a look at the things you've made - you're a very talented bunch Smile. Overmydeadbody I found your blog a while ago and have a read regularly. Your ambition for 2011 and your projects themselves are impressive!

My recent makes are on my blog, here. I mostly sew, as much as I can! I don't knit or crochet at all though (yet...). And I cook, although food is a bit of a cheat in terms of 'making' really isn't it? Either too functional or too indulgent. Anyway, I blog it sometimes just to keep things active.

In terms of ongoing stuff, next up is finishing a portable laundry bag tonight, to take camping tomorrow (yay!). Husband thinks this is a ridiculous frivolity, but it drives me insane to just have a plastic bag full of dirty clothes floating aroud the tent. And then some new skirts/dresses for dd (first day at kindergarten coming up...!), and I want to attempt trousers for her and ds too. I've never done it but this makes it look so easy, I'm going to have to jump in and try soon. And I need a new dress and a few skirts myself too, if I ever find the time for all that!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to hopefully getting to know you all a bit better! Will be back posting next week somewhere, after the above-mentioned 4 days under canvas... (and its laundry aftermath - why does camping always create so much washing??)

Red2011 · 25/08/2011 11:13

Recently? several bracelets as birthday gifts for friends, two pairs of earrings for bridesmaids (I was one of them!) and wedding stationery, postbox, guest book and wedding favours.

euromum · 25/08/2011 11:20

By the way, I doubt anyone will get this far in my blog's archive so I'll mention here: I still have a free skirt for a thin person going, if anyone would like it. Just shout!

queenmaeve · 25/08/2011 11:33

Euro thats gorgeous! Unfortunatly I am no where near a size 8. Pity!

euromum · 25/08/2011 11:38

No me neither maeve. I used to be, before dcs, but I'm pretty sure I never will be again!

DillyTante · 25/08/2011 21:09

Hi all

Queenmaeve thanks for the compliment, I've been checking out your blog too, I left a comment.

I made a little purse for a friend's daughter and a couple of posts down are my plans for yarn bombing...

DillyTante · 25/08/2011 21:10

Gorgeous skirt euromum, I wish I could fit into it.

dizzyday07 · 25/08/2011 22:14

I finished off a VW Camper Van softie today for my sister's 40th birthday.

The pattern still needs a bit of a tweak as I don't think it's curved enough at the front!
