Title says it all really.
Tell me about the lovely things you have been making, any craft. Pictures/Ravelry links would be great.
I like to crochet but I've found myself in a bit of a rut and want to be inspired and find some motivation to make something, even if its a totally different craft.

Share away.

Hello All

I made a 'birthscope' painting for a friends babys christening recently and have had some positive feedback from it, so have done quite a few for other friends too.
Take a look and let me know what you think.....each is hand drawn and watercolour painted, picturing babys birthsign, time of birth, season of birth, weight and birthstone.

I would really appreciate some feedback, if you think they are a viable idea and that it's not just a case of my friends being kind lol.

Many Thanks xx click on the link or seach for me 'By Matilda and Charlie' on Facebook.

Euromum that skirt is gorgeous, absolutely stunning colours too. Has anyone claimed it yet? I'm a size 8. I'll even send you pics of me in it, and I hate having my photo taken Smile.

Only just started browsing this forum as I'm looking to start doing some crafty things to while away the winter evenings. There are some great ideas on here and all your photos are fab - never knew there was so much talent on MN!

Hi everyone, it's been a while but I've been lurking and enjoying everyone's creations. I've finally finished this for my niece's wedding, gulp, tomorrow. No pressure. Wink

Hello all! I managed to finish off my laundry bag for the tent before going camping - made out of an old coffee sack. No pics yet but it's hardly an inspiring object anyway!

Apart from that I haven't made anything this week, as we're staying at my parents'. However, I have managed to score some rather fabulous old clothing patterns from my mum's collection, sitting unused in a box, and some fabric similarly going to waste. Including - I couldn't believe it - metres of Liberty cotton she has not used in the years since she was GIVEN it! And some rather cool blue tweed-type stuff from the same fairy godmother, a Polish friend of my grandma's who used to just show up and give my mum fabric. What I wouldn't give to have someone like that! At least I rescued it all, along with a whole load of little funky bits. So, I hope to be productively making once we get home!

omdb I saw all those pieces cut out for your quilt - impressive! Are you very daunted by the scale of it all? I don't dare even think about that sort of thing...

dizzy I love that VW campervan softie! So cute!

Recently, I have helped DS make a felt jacket for his bear, was very fun!

Also painted anothe t-shirt for DS, here

Cut out 725 3.5" squares for the quilt I want to make.

Made a lined boxy pouch using this fabulous tutorial from Projects by Jane.

And finally, I made some shorts, which I am a bit disappointed in really, but I guess they are just shorts, I didn't want anything fancy.

I was going to start a blog but decided it was too much hard work, so I've created a flickr account so there are a few pics of things I've made recently on there if anyone wants a look. Sorry but I dont know how to do the proper linky things.

I finished off a VW Camper Van softie today for my sister's 40th birthday.

The pattern still needs a bit of a tweak as I don't think it's curved enough at the front!

Hi all

Queenmaeve thanks for the compliment, I've been checking out your blog too, I left a comment.

I made a little purse for a friend's daughter and a couple of posts down are my plans for yarn bombing...

Hello crafting ladies! Can I join in?

I'm a longtime mumsnet lurker but I haven't posted much for a (very long) while. But I'd love to have an excuse to chat with some like minds! And I've been having a look at the things you've made - you're a very talented bunch Smile. Overmydeadbody I found your blog a while ago and have a read regularly. Your ambition for 2011 and your projects themselves are impressive!

My recent makes are on my blog, here. I mostly sew, as much as I can! I don't knit or crochet at all though (yet...). And I cook, although food is a bit of a cheat in terms of 'making' really isn't it? Either too functional or too indulgent. Anyway, I blog it sometimes just to keep things active.

In terms of ongoing stuff, next up is finishing a portable laundry bag tonight, to take camping tomorrow (yay!). Husband thinks this is a ridiculous frivolity, but it drives me insane to just have a plastic bag full of dirty clothes floating aroud the tent. And then some new skirts/dresses for dd (first day at kindergarten coming up...!), and I want to attempt trousers for her and ds too. I've never done it but this makes it look so easy, I'm going to have to jump in and try soon. And I need a new dress and a few skirts myself too, if I ever find the time for all that!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to hopefully getting to know you all a bit better! Will be back posting next week somewhere, after the above-mentioned 4 days under canvas... (and its laundry aftermath - why does camping always create so much washing??)

I love the dresser you made and the laundry room tidy. I'm going to post the link to it here. Mumsnetters - you really need to see this little gem of a project if haven't already! Super cute idea :)

queenmaeve I'm currently studying at college, the panels were all projects as part of my course.....I now need to start expanding beyond A3 size ones!

I'm obsessed by it, it's my passion. Anyone can start, any time - an art degree is useful but not necessary. Only requirement is you need to be able to stand the sight of blood, you will cut yourself! I do it all the time.... Smile
