Welcome to the newest thread of support for those ladies who are pregnant or trying to conceive after terminating for abnormalities. Since this thread first began (almost ten years ago!) there have been stories of heart break, sadness and fear, but from these stories there have also been stories of happiness, success and most importantly, hope.

@CorkViaDublin

Hey guys *@Balajake* my test this morning is non existent the line is barely there at all. I think it might have been residual hormones from the miscarriage or something;(
I’m so sorry @CorkViaDublin. Sending all my prayers to you. I remember being here after my loss and ovulated 2 weeks after. Was hoping I would catch straight away as it hurt so much. It’s took me 8 cycles since but I’m hoping you get your rainbow much much faster ❤️
Kiki275 · 27/11/2020 09:01

@CorkViaDublin I'm so sorry to hear this. I know it's of little consolation but at least a proper period will help you know exactly where you are in terms of dates etc. and take away many doubts.

@AlexaPlayWhiteNoise thinking of you today. Huge virtual hugs from me xx

Thanks @Kiki275 and @Balajake yes once I have a period it will be much easier to date.
My sore boobs and back pain must be pms.

Thank you so much for all the support

Mummabear40 · 27/11/2020 11:14

@CorkViaDublin sorry to hear this. I experienced this too in my first cycle so understand the disappointment. Once you’ve had your first period your cycle will be much easier to understand and date.

AlexaPlayWhiteNoise · 27/11/2020 14:04

Cork I'm so sorry, that's utterly shit. Massive hug.

Thank you everyone for your kindness and love. We got through this morning, I got to go give my boy a cuddle and a kiss before we took him on his final journey. And I carried him in and all the way. I sincerely hope that this is the worst thing that ever happens to us. It was a beautiful service but one I hope never to have to repeat.

CorkViaDublin · 27/11/2020 15:27

@AlexaPlayWhiteNoise well done for getting thru it. Your strength is amazing.

I’m just really annoyed that my doctor didn’t tell me that my tests were positive in the hospital last week. What a waste of time and effort. And hope.

I guess I’ll just wait for AF and try from there

Kiki275 · 27/11/2020 18:21

@CorkViaDublin they may not have been positive last week. There are so many things going internally with hormones all over the place. Try not to overthink the whys and what may be's in this first cycle. Keeping everything crossed for you on the next one. x

@AlexaPlayWhiteNoise I'm glad today went as well as it could. I remember the boys service clear as day and was so glad we could do that for them. It was the first week of lockdown and there were so many things we weren't allowed to do but I loved visiting them beforehand x

@AlexaPlayWhiteNoise glad you managed to get through yesterday. I remember feeling the exact same about hoping it’s the worse thing we ever have to go through. X

@CorkViaDublin I’m sorry to hear this. I know it’s little consolation but the ladies are right at least you’ll know exactly where your body is at once you’ve had a period. Dating will be so much easier. Positives vibes for this fresh cycle! X

CorkViaDublin · 28/11/2020 08:52

@Redhead43 @Kiki275 @Mummabear40 @AlexaPlayWhiteNoise @Balajake

Thanks you guys.
So yesterday I had bloods done and they will do them again on Monday to see what’s happened.
My office tests are negative now pretty much.
But I have an elevated heart rate- which I only ever had when I conceived last tome. It literally goes from my usual 58bpm and then rises 1bpm every two days and it’s doing that now. Maybe I’m gearing up for an intense period.
I’ll know on Monday whether my hcg is rising or falling. My period is due Monday too so fingers crossed

Suspect I may be having a chemical as my frer was much lighter this morning. I went out and bought more tests but couldn’t find frer.

They all look positive so not sure what to think of the frer 😞 I’m all in a panic now thinking they should be darker . The digital says pregnant which dives me hope

Oh @Balajake - this tww is AWFUL. I don’t know what to say. We just have to hold out. The digital is pretty reassuring

Balajake · 28/11/2020 14:13

Just totally fed up right now

Mummabear40 · 28/11/2020 14:16

@Balajake the digital is a really good sign, keeping everything crossed for you. xx

CorkViaDublin · 28/11/2020 15:01

@Balajake are all those tests from today

Balajake · 28/11/2020 15:11

Yes from today

CorkViaDublin · 28/11/2020 16:34

@Balajake if those were mine I’d be feeling pretty hopeful but I’m in a similar boat and I know it’s hard to feel hope when we know what can go wrong. Will you test again tomorrow?

Balajake · 28/11/2020 16:44

Yes will test again tomorrow

Balajake · 28/11/2020 17:24

This is the superdrug test from before and the cheapie I just did as I have 100s of them

I mean, they all look very clearly pregnant to me @Balajake

What’s the main thing making u think it’s a CP? Xx

Mummabear40 · 28/11/2020 17:29

@Balajake how many days past ovulation are you? As I’d say there pretty promising tbh

Balajake · 28/11/2020 17:58

I’m 13dpo and it was the frer that panicked me. I did a frer last night which was much darker than this morning

CorkViaDublin · 28/11/2020 18:26

It’s possible you drank a lot of water yesterday eve which you processed overnight, there are so many reasons @Balajake try to just stay in today and for today you are pregnant. You can deal with tomorrow tomorrow xxxx

Balajake · 28/11/2020 19:36

Thanks xxx

MummyBearBoo · 28/11/2020 19:51

Do let us know how you get on
@Balajake I'm crossing my fingers for you!! X

Dia12 · 28/11/2020 21:51

Hi everyone, just catching up with the thread after some time away. Hope you're all doing well.

Congratulations @Treaclepie19 and @MummyBearBoo on your beautiful healthy baby girls 💕

@JustStuck I'm sorry to read about the nightmare you have had with retained products for such a drawn out time. I hope you are healing both physically and emotionally.

It's upsetting to read you've gone through another CP @NoCallerID - it's ridiculous for your MW to suggest if you hadn't tested early you wouldn't have an issue? I was told exactly that and my reasoning was the same as yours, surely I should know if this happening too often. Really do hope the trial gives you a chance to find the cause behind all of this and resolve it.

Sorry to hear of your loss @AlexaPlayWhiteNoise and hope the service for your little boy brought you some peace.

@Balajake - your tests still look positive, keeping fingers and toes crossed for you that they get stronger. It's so difficult to compare different tests as they all have varying sensitivities. As long as they are still positive x
