Welcome to the newest thread of support for those ladies who are pregnant or trying to conceive after terminating for abnormalities. Since this thread first began (almost ten years ago!) there have been stories of heart break, sadness and fear, but from these stories there have also been stories of happiness, success and most importantly, hope.

@NoCallerID huge hugs! Anniversaries are so hard. Have you got a special bauble you can put on the tree to mark the occasion?x

Glad your bloods came back normal @NoCallerID maybe you can take the pressure off yourselves for this month when you know you won't be trying and relax a little.
Hope it all goes well for you. X

Keeping fingers crossed for you @Kiki275. Quarantine has been reduced to 10 days - will that apply to you now or will you have to complete the 14days?

@balajake I found my booking in appointment hard. I had luckily booked the day off as annual leave and they had rearranged it twice on the day so glad I wasn't having to work too. It certainly was hard going through the details again, I cried and watched films in bed after. Then the guilt sets in of grieving for the baby when you have another growing inside, it's so hard x

mrsof20118 · 11/12/2020 21:40

@kiki275 brown spotting can be so promising. I also had it with my bfp and a bit of a bbt dip.

Mummabear40 · 11/12/2020 22:13

@Kiki275 I had brown spotting with my first healthy baby for a few days and what I classed at the time as light period which it wasn’t in the end as I was pregnant so fingers crossed for you.

Just read this and thought it might be relevant to recent discussion re: bbt

BBT up 0.1 to 36.7
Still the tiniest amount of brown spotting

Ahhh congrats @Kiki275

Mummabear40 · 12/12/2020 08:27

@Kiki275 I knew it! It was exactly the same as with my first.

@Dia12 I found bbt-ing very helpful as it made me understand my body’s normal and my body’s pattern through each cycle. My temp would drop like clockwork the day before AF and always has it also dropped with implantation with this pregnancy and my last. It is not a prediction tool but helps people understand their cycle points better. Each person is different but for me it was anyways correct with ovulation, AF and implantation

Mummabear40 · 12/12/2020 08:27

@Kiki275 congratulations!! 🤗 I think that’s 4 of us this cycle!

1stbabs · 12/12/2020 08:30

JennyMY · 12/12/2020 08:30

I haven't been on here for a while but have been checking in on you all. Glad to say baby boy doing well and due in feb. Had to pop on to say how happy I am to see your BFP news @Kiki275!! And the rest of you who have had good news, and to send support to those of you still trying. I am still struggling every day with the bereavement following the TMFR of my baby's twin sister but having this little one to keep me going is a blessing. Much love to all xxx

NoCallerID · 12/12/2020 09:06

I’ve had my hospital letter through for my first scan, it’s 7th Jan and I’ll be 9 weeks. I’ve got my booking in on 4th Jan too so it’ll be a busy 1st week of the year.

Hi Everyone,

I’m sorry to see so many new names joining the thread but you’re in very good and supportive company.

I am so happy to read about so many BFPs! It’s been a fantastic month for this thread! It’s rather emotional actually. @Kiki275 I am so pleased for you!

I fell off the radar a little with our little boys due date coming and passing but also because we got our BFP too.....It’s been an emotional rollercoaster and anxious first trimester and I haven’t really said it out aloud yet. But we’re 14+3 with two reassuring scans under our belts already. Got another one first week Jan when I’ll be just over 17 weeks. I have to say the anxiety has been overwhelming I’m pleased so many of you that I’ve shared this journey with are now sharing this second part of journey ❤️ I couldn’t of gotten this far without you ladies xx

Mummabear40 · 12/12/2020 20:33

@Redhead43 this has made me emotional! I had a feeling you were and were keeping it quiet, as I always remember your TWW being the same time as mine. I’m so happy for you ♥️♥️Xx

Redhead43 · 12/12/2020 20:35

@Mummabear40
Awww I know I felt really guilty when you asked how my TWW was going because we were the same kinda time frame - so I am sorry about that. Everything just came at the same time and I was so emotional. I am so happy for us all xxx

Mummabear40 · 12/12/2020 20:44

@Redhead43 I’m so happy for you and all of us recently getting our BFP’s, there have been so many lately that I hope it offers some hope to others TTC or thinking or TTC as I know it helped me xxx

Redhead43 · 12/12/2020 20:53

Absolutely agree! I hope it gives lots of hope and reassurance to those TTC. This thread and the ladies before me who already had their BFPs really kept me going. Glad to be sharing this journey with you @Mummabear40 xxx
