@Grassisgreener99 I hope you get some help from the groups and answers from the genetics team so you can make a plan for the future. Keep us updated. The unknown and waiting all the time is so hard.

@Treaclepie19 how you feeling today? Hope you’re having a nice anniversary xx

MummyBearBoo · 16/08/2020 20:11

Happy anniversary @Treaclepie19 xxx

Treaclepie19 · 16/08/2020 20:14

Thank you both 😊
I've felt quite nauseous today and worn out so we've just had a very quiet day at home. Ds has been a monkey so that's not been fun!
Just sitting down to some tango and biscuits now 😁

@Grassisgreener99 I'm so sorry you've got this to worry about, I don't have any experience either I'm afraid, but hope you're able to find someone who does on the ARC forum xx

@Treaclepie19 Happy anniversary! Tango and biscuits sounds good 😌

Hope everyone is ok xx

MummyBearBoo · 16/08/2020 23:02

I can barely walk today the ligament in my left groin is soooo painful DR thought it might be SPD but it doesn't hurt round the back just the front unlike SPD? Xx

Treaclepie19 · 16/08/2020 23:26

@MummyBearBoo can definitely be SPD. Mine is worst in the front. Sorry you're suffering. It's horrible 😔

Kiki275 · 17/08/2020 07:45

@MummyBearBoo can you get a physio referral or see someone privately? They might be able to give you some stretches to help x

MummyBearBoo · 17/08/2020 21:41

Thanks I'll talk to Dr when I go back re- physio

MRI was awful it's so loud I had ear defenders but baby was going mental and jumped everytime noise started again!! And i was uncomfortable laid on my back and hot!!! Xxx

MummyBearBoo · 17/08/2020 22:16

How are you feeling @Treaclepie19? Xx

Treaclepie19 · 17/08/2020 23:17

That sounds horrible @MummyBearBoo 😔
I'm currently in triage because I had horrible rib pain earlier. Typically now I'm here its nowhere near as bad 🙈
Just waiting for the midwife.

Redhead43 · 17/08/2020 23:34

@MummyBearBoo MRI sounds horrible. Glad that’s all over for you now. Hope the results don’t take too long to come back for you so you can get your birth plan in place.

@Treaclepie19 hope everything is okay. Always best to be checked xx

Kiki275 · 18/08/2020 08:19

@Treaclepie19 hope everything is okay?

Flo is telling me it's ovulation day. Think this is the first time it's got it right since the boys were born. Plenty of EWCM this morning, so DH needs to perform tonight x

Treaclepie19 · 18/08/2020 08:39

Thank you xxx
They said they couldn't find a reason for it and sent me home. I was fine with it last night because the pain had gone off.
This morning its back again and from checking my notes I don't think they even managed to get a blood pressure reading which is the one thing I was worried about it being.

Hooray for ovulation @Kiki275!! Get dtd! 🤞

OP posts:
Kiki275 · 18/08/2020 08:42

@Treaclepie19 what kind of pain is it? With the twins I felt like my ribs were being pushed out from inside and that was mainly due to amniotic fluid levels combined with posture.x

MummyBearBoo · 18/08/2020 08:43

@Treaclepie19 -hope everything is ok! I get stectching pain just under my ribs which is pretty painful but only for a short amount of time.

Should get MRI results maybe tomorrow my consultant at fetal medicine said she'll ring me with them.

The consultant who did my initial scan for what the MRI is for remembered my scan from 2018 so the issues I had/have must have been pretty bad! Xx

Kiki275 · 18/08/2020 09:08

@MummyBearBoo on a positive spin, maybe not bad, just unusual or interesting. Hope the results give some conclusive answers for you xx

NoCallerID · 18/08/2020 12:53

@Treaclepie19 ouch! Can it be a foot or something? I remember being in tears many many times due to DS feet basically kicking my ribs All. The. Time.!!!

@MummyBearBoo I'm glad the MRI is over for you, poor bubba jumping around with the noise, it's awful and scary...

@Kiki275 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼I've got another 2 weeks left before ov, I hate my long cycles!!!!

Treaclepie19 · 18/08/2020 13:05

I think its likely a digestive or muscle thing. I'll keep an eye on it though. It's coming and going so doubt its anything bad. My blood pressure was fine a week ago, has been all the way through. Just everything is worrying me at the moment!

Just waiting for DH to get Greggs for lunch 😊

OP posts:
Redhead43 · 18/08/2020 20:52

Hope the MRI results come tomorrow @MummyBearBoo

@Treaclepie19 hope your pain settles. Try not to worry even though I know it’s so hard.

@Kiki275 Yay happy ovulating! I’m probably about 10 days behind you but trying my hardest not to watch the app everyday

Dia12 · 18/08/2020 22:12

Hi everyone. First time poster here. After 4 years of struggling to conceive (2 failed ICSIs, 2 natural conceptions ending as chemical pregnancies) I finally managed to fall pregnant and stay pregnant....felt like we had finally turned a corner.
Unfortunately the NIPT results indicated high risk for T18 (Edwards syndrome) and then amniocentesis confirmed our worst nightmare. The baby was incompatible with life"
We opted for a tfmr at 16 weeks and I delivered our beautiful little boy and buried him 2 weeks ago.
It all still feels like a waking nightmare. I can't believe we've gone from the joy of finally being pregnant back to the pit of misery that is TTC. We're also still grieving and miss our little boy so much and feel overwhelming guilt.

I really would like to try again. I'm 40 and have no underlying fertility issues. DH has low sperm parameters but not extremely poor - and the fact that I've been able to conceive naturally 3 times now gives me some hope but I am so very frightened at what the future holds.

Kiki275 · 18/08/2020 22:37

@Dia12 I'm sorry you find yourself on this thread, however you're amongst a lovely group of ladies. It's an awful stage, grieving for a lost baby but your body aching for another. We're here to listen if you need it xx

Dia12 · 18/08/2020 23:02

Thank you @Kiki275
The medical termination was just horrible to go through and the memory haunts me. I feel the only way I could possibly heal from this is by having a healthy, happy baby.

My body seems to have sprung back quite quickly in that the bleeding has settled quickly and I feel back to normal again.
I just need to snap out of my misery and get to eating healthy and lose some of the weight I gained.

Redhead43 · 19/08/2020 06:17

Welcome @Dia12 I am so sorry you find yourself joining this thread and for the loss of your little boy💙 You’ve been through the toughest of times. Glad you seem to be healing well physically....Emotionally it’s a rollercoaster so be gentle with yourself. Hopefully, you’ll find some help and support here - the ladies on here are really amazing xx

Kiki275 · 19/08/2020 06:57

@Dia12 have you been offered any counselling following the procedure? ARC are always there for support if you haven't found them already x
