Since this thread first began (almost ten years ago!) there have been stories of heart break, sadness and fear, but from these stories there have also been stories of happiness, success and most importantly, hope. Morning everyone, how you all?
I'm probably 8-10 dpo and symptom spotting. Resisting the urge to test and trying to not read too much into it. Hate the TWW x

Treaclepie19 · 31/07/2020 12:41

@Kiki275 The two week wait is so stressful isn't it :( When do you think you will test?

I'm okay thanks, just not feeling too well in this heat.

Kiki275 · 31/07/2020 16:53

@Treaclepie19 not until Tues/Wednesday when AF is due. I've got a triple pack of clear blue waiting just in case but don't want to tempt fate. If I get any red spotting then I might x

AlmondsAndChocolate · 31/07/2020 18:01

Hi everyone, I had my early scan last week and could clearly see a heartbeat Smile I wasn't expecting it because I haven't had many symptoms at all, just the occasional wave of nausea. I am feeling very tired now but still no nausea, I'm hoping this is not a bad sign! 8 weeks along now. I have already booked the Harmony scan, trying not to think about that too much! The idea of waiting for the results is terrifying!

@Kiki275 hope you get a BFP next week. The tww can be excruciating, I hope time flies for you!

Kiki275 · 31/07/2020 18:42

Lovely news @AlmondsAndChocolate. I can only imagine what that wait will feel like. We didn't loose to chromosomal abnormalities but I'm certainly not going to be as relaxed about either abnormality scan as I have been previously. Fingers crossed they come through quickly x

Redhead43 · 31/07/2020 21:50

Really pleased to hear about your scan @AlmondsAndChocolate lovely news xx
@Kiki275 thinking of you! slightly behind you as i start the TWW tomorrow. Like you I have a stock of tests but I will try my best to wait the full two weeks xx

Thinking of you all in this heat!
Take care ladies xx

Kiki275 · 02/08/2020 09:42

Morning everyone, how are you all today?

@Redhead43 hope the TWW is treating you kindly. Will test myself on Wednesday if AF hasn't appeared. Eyeing up my toddlers toilet seat/potty as an easy way of getting a sample 😂
@Treaclepie19 feeling better now the heat has subsided?
@MummyBearBoo have you got an MRI date yet?
@Buzz22 checking in in case the thread has dropped again. I can only find some on "watching" rather than "I'm on. Even then they're not at the top.

1stbabs · 02/08/2020 20:13

Hi everyone, just catching up with the thread. Got my 20 week scan with fetal medicine tomorrow morning, not feeling too nervous right now but I'm sure I'll be up all night!

Lovely news @AlmondsAndChocolate !! 💕

My fingers are are crossed tightly for @Kiki275 and @Redhead43 .. well done if you manage to hold out for the whole TWW! I'm an awful early tester 🤦🏽‍♀️

Wow 30 weeks @MummyBearBoo and @Treaclepie19 .. really not long to go now. Hope you're both doing ok x

Treaclepie19 · 02/08/2020 20:20

Still feeling a bit off but not as bad as when it was boiling thanks @Kiki275!

@1stbabs hope all goes well with your scan ❤

@1stbabs Oh I know I’ll surprise myself if I manage it. Thinking of you this morning for your 20 week scan. I hope you got some sort of sleep or rest. Let us know how you get on xxx

@Kiki275 not long for you now..... Well done on the waiting. I’ve got a few busy weeks which is helpful with work and a few social things so should keep my mind occupied enough to resist an early test but who knows xxx

NoCallerID · 04/08/2020 09:37

Hey guys,

I hope you're all well.
I haven't been on here for a while, I was really struggling with life...
I got all the baby clothes out the loft on Sunday to send them to my sister who is due in October. It was horrendous, considering I should be getting all the clothes ready for our little boy's arrival late August...
Plus I'm in the tww which seems to turn me into a different (and awful) person.
I've tested last night and also this morning and it seems I got a positive (FRER and IC) After two chemicals I'm very cautious and won't let myself get too excited but this time feels different 🤞🏼

@NoCallerID that must have been so tough for you Flowers

Sending quiet congratulations to you and keeping everything crossed Flowers

Kiki275 · 04/08/2020 09:50

@NoCallerID I'll keep everything crossed for that the line just keeps on getting stronger. I can only imagine how heartbreaking it is. I've got to pack all our baby stuff up properly soon to put in storage, when some of it should be in use already. Huge hugs x

1stbabs · 04/08/2020 11:23

@NoCallerID it sounds like you've had a really difficult time, congratulations and hoping this will be the one that sticks 🤞🏽 x

Thank you for the good luck ladies, my 20 week scan went ok. Baby is fine and healthy, (and a boy 💙) but the blood flow to him is restricted. I'm now high risk for preeclampsia and a small/premature baby. Felt ok about it when they said it, but now feeling stressed about it. Hoping the regular scans will give me some reassurance.

Hope everybody else is doing ok xx

Kiki275 · 04/08/2020 12:24

@1stbabs I'm sorry it wasn't completely good news but it's reassuring that it's been identified. The extra scans will be lovely.x

AlmondsAndChocolate · 04/08/2020 13:45

NoCallerID I suppose many ladies on here can identify with your feelings. The tww can be a really tough time. Congratulations on your BFP and I hope this one sticks!

1stbabs congratulations on your little boy! Remember that restricted blood flow at 20 weeks only means that your risk of premature birth is increased, not that it will definitely happen. Have they offered you any additional scans?

1stbabs · 04/08/2020 15:00

@Kiki275 @AlmondsAndChocolate thank you both, you're right. I think I need to be reassured by the fact that it's only a risk, and that I'll have extra monitoring. Scans every 4 weeks and midwife every 2, so I'm in good hands really x

Redhead43 · 04/08/2020 15:47

@1stbabs congratulations on your little boy 💙 like the other ladies have said it’s just a risk and you’ll have a close eye kept on you. Hope you manage to enjoy your evening thinking about seeing your little boy on your next scan xxx

@NoCallerID I have everything crossed for you the tww is hard and you’ve been through a really tough time already. Sorting the clothes for your sister must have been really hard - you’ve done really well to do that xxx

@Kiki275 are you still planning on testing tomorrow? Xxx

Kiki275 · 04/08/2020 15:55

Yes, no sign of AF yet but not sure exactly when she's due. Feeling a bit PMSy but can't decide if it's AF or just DH p*$$!ng me off 😂. I don't feel pregnant or had any more signs so not anticipating a BFP. Previously, I've known before I tested. We shall see x

Redhead43 · 04/08/2020 17:05

Ah yes PMS and annoying husbands have the same effect from experience 😂
Fingers crossed for you @Kiki275 x

NoCallerID · 05/08/2020 08:21

Thanks ladies. My temp dropped this morning and tests are basically negative again. 3rd time in a row now. I guess it's just not meant to be.

Kiki275 · 05/08/2020 09:03

@NoCallerID I'm sorry to hear this. All I can say is it wasn't meant to be this time although it's not much consolation. Huge hugs x

I've had a BFN this morning. Tried looking in every light for the faintest squinter. Just got to wait for AF. I hate periods.

AlmondsAndChocolate · 05/08/2020 09:20

Sorry to hear about that Kiki275 and NoCallerID. It's shit and I suppose there's nothing anyone can say to make it better. I hope you have better luck in your next cycle!

1stbabs · 05/08/2020 09:21

@NoCallerID I'm so very sorry this has happened again. I really hope things turn around for you next month. Thanks

@Kiki275 when is AF supposed to arrive? There might still be time for a BFP? xx

Kiki275 · 05/08/2020 09:33

@1stbabs due today. I'd just pinned a lot of hope on this month as I ovulated around my boys due date. I was sure it was fate x
