@Treaclepie19 congratulations!!!!! Stop panicking and try and relax a lot of people drink without even knowing they are pregnant. Just carry on with your vitamins and lots of water! :) xxxxx

Conorgog · 23/01/2020 07:36

@treclepie19 ahhhhhhhhmaOMG congratulations this is great news! It only takes one time - as myself, Jo and now you have found out 🙈. Fingers crossed this one is a goody! Xxxx

Thank you both 💕 Still very shocked. Shall be ringing fetal medicine. They said to ring asap when I found out... not sure they meant before 4 weeks though 🙈

Mangoandbroccoli · 23/01/2020 08:06

Amazing @Treaclepie19!!!! Congratulations!!!

JO138 · 23/01/2020 08:48

@Treaclepie19 that's amazing! We are definitely the group of the fluke! I was worried with DS because he was conceived on the booziest holiday ever and I got a BFP when we were away at a wedding and I had a skin full of prosecco! 😬

@conorgog that is great news! Did you call or did they call you? One more hurdle down!

Treaclepie19 · 23/01/2020 09:13

Thank you so much Grin
I'm just trying to be really positive because if everything does go wrong all I'll have is this time with the little bean so I may as well make the most of it.

ShootingStar2020 · 23/01/2020 09:27

@Treaclepie19 - that’s wonderful!! You ladies are all doing brilliantly!! Gives me hope!

CD9 here so better get limbering up 😂

Mangoandbroccoli · 23/01/2020 10:01

Haha best of luck @ShootingStar2020! I'm cd 14 and starting to wonder if I should follow our group trend and just aim for a one hit wonder?! 🤣

Treaclepie19 · 23/01/2020 10:06

😂 go for it ladies!
Cd14 did the trick for us 🙈

JO138 · 23/01/2020 11:44

Lucky number 13 for us! ❤

Treaclepie19 · 23/01/2020 19:16

How are you all doing?
I'm working my way through all the Easter foods. Mini eggs. Creme eggs...

What are your due dates? Mine will be 4th october all going well.

Mini12 · 24/01/2020 06:15

@Treaclepie19 that's amazing news!!! Congratulations!!! Wow the fluke sex is working well on here!!!🤣 So happy for you!!!

Conorgog · 24/01/2020 06:46

My due date is 18 July which seems a bit mad considering it’s the end of January already.

We are keeping the sex a surprise from ourselves (ergo everyone else), so opted out of knowing from NIPT, but I must admit I minutely scanned the NIPT results in hopes they forgot to not put it 😂. I even went through some of those nub skull things to try and guess, but I have no clue/zero idea what i’m looking at.

Good luck those ‘in the window’!

@JO138 how’s that nausea?

14 + 6 today!

Treaclepie19 · 24/01/2020 06:58

Thank you @Mini12!! 😊

Ohh that does seem close @Conorgog!
I'm going to definitely find out the sex if we get that far. I can't handle not knowing things 🙈

I did another test this morning... haven't had chance to analyse it yet but it didnt look any stronger than yesterdays.
I feel sick though. How can I feel so sick when I'm not even 4 weeks pregnant??

JO138 · 24/01/2020 07:31

@Conorgog that's funny I'm 18 Aug! The nausea is coming and going. Seems a bit better. But I'm not sleeping which makes everything worse! I'm under a ridiculous amount of stress at the moment not helped by the fact that we are selling our house. All was going well until suddenly buyer came back yesterday wanting us to cover some of her costs. Totally bizarre request that we definitely won't consider but looks like we could be back at square one!!! 🤬

@treaclepie19 sorry you are feeling sick. I can definitely relate. It's not pleasant! 🤢

JO138 · 24/01/2020 16:05

Sorry paranoia warning! I came in to work this morning, albeit a tad late, and I smelled someone's coffee and for the first time since 5 weeks it didn't make me gag.

So I got a skinny latte with my porridge and enjoyed it. And spent the rest of the day panicked that my nausea fading means something is wrong. I've read that nausea can fade around 10 weeks but with DS I remember being in tears when I was still I'll at 14 weeks.

I'm 10+3 today. 😬😬😬

ShootingStar2020 · 24/01/2020 17:14

@JO138 - my nausea has always faded about 9/10 weeks. I was told it is generally due to placenta kicking in and hormones levelling out but everyone is so different. Glad you enjoyed your coffee. I have had two strong ones today due to slight hangover from work dinner and a bug I am still getting over. Early night me thinks!!!

Treaclepie19 · 24/01/2020 17:41

I'd say the same, it varies so much between people!
Mine stuck around until about 20 weeks with DS1 but that was just bad luck.
I'm so worn out 😴

Mini12 · 24/01/2020 17:47

@JO138 I can understand the paranoia! Remember each pregnancy is totally different! Another day down for NIPT results, hopefully they will help give you peace of mind 🤞

@Conorgog did you have your results after the 12 week scan? I think I'm going to see how my scans go then if all good have the test for extra reassurance!
I'm currently in bed feeling sick, was going to run a hot bath then googled it and it's one of the things that can cause birth defects apparently so that's a no!! 😩 Why are all the things that make you feel better when your pregnant you can't do!!!

Mangoandbroccoli · 24/01/2020 18:13

Just another voice to reassure you @JO138, that every pregnancy is different and the nausea can come and go for any number of reasons. I think by 10 weeks most people would hope / expect any nausea to start to wind down with the placenta kicking in and things levelling out so hopefully it's that. I had no sickness with heathy pregnancy and lots with the baby we lost so it's not a very good indicator xx

JO138 · 24/01/2020 18:18

Thanks ladies. I was reading a funny post on another thread about being upset about not being sick then crying when you are too sick to function! That was me today. Enjoyed a coffee and managed a workout with my trainer for the first time in weeks! Should be rejoicing but was too busy panicking!

@Mini12 I definitely miss a hot bath! It's my go-to cure for most things. I did have a bath early days that was probably too hot then stressed about spina bifida. The midwife basically said to me if you don't feel flushed, don't stay in too long, and make sure your skin doesn't go pink then it's ok. I have still been having a bath most nights after work with bath salts to relax before bed. Hope you are feeling better.

I've just had an early dinner while DS watches TV in his pjs and I will be headed up to bed with him at 7pm. If I can read for 30 mins that's a bonus! I don't dare stay up late with DH away all weekend 💤💤💤💤

Treaclepie19 · 24/01/2020 18:42

I'm having a worry this evening because we're getting a Chinese takeaway and I'm paranoid that I shouldn't?! Honestly. This is messing with my head today 😔

@JO138 hope you get a lovely long sleep ❤
Sorry you're feeling sick @Mini12, hope you're able to get some rest.

Treaclepie19 · 24/01/2020 19:51

Update- I had veg fried rice, chips, curry sauce and veg spring rolls.
I ate about half or less 🙈

JO138 · 25/01/2020 11:22

@Treaclepie19 I don't think there is any concern with Chinese is there? My biggest concern is that I can't handle the oil. 🤢 I was driving DS home from swimming today and all I wanted was McDonald's breakfast. 😋 Has to settle for scrambled eggs at home.

Treaclepie19 · 25/01/2020 14:04

@JO138 no there really isn't. I'm just a bit panicky. I have OCD too so things can get out of hand if I don't challenge it.
Maybe I'll have to have McDonalds today Wink
I wanted it for lunch but was good and had soup.
