Just seen this thread can I join!?
Had a TFMR due to a severe diagnosis of HLHS in October (22 weeks baby Alvie)
Currently TTC on CD26 due in two days and cant decide if it's symptoms of AF or not ☹️
I also had a mmc last January.
Fallen pretty quickly with both pregnancies but have put on a little weight since last pregnancy which I'm worried will make this a struggle for me (size 14)
Xx

Treaclepie19 · 19/01/2020 21:55

Welcome @AlviesMam. I'm so sorry you have to hear about baby Alvie's diagnosis Flowers
My little boy was also a TFMR at 22+4, Jesse.
I'm currently on cd22 and due in a few days as well. Wishing you all the best.

Treaclepie19 · 19/01/2020 22:04

Typo 🙄 I'm so sorry you have to join us, and to hear about Alvie's diagnosis.

AlviesMam · 19/01/2020 22:06

@Treaclepie19 so sorry to hear about Jesse 😢 xx

I feel so incomplete and these symptoms are messing with my head. I just don't know what to think , one more day to wait xxxx

Treaclepie19 · 20/01/2020 07:48

Thank you @AlviesMam
I bet, ttc can so mess with your head. When are you testing?
I'm on cd23 today and my cycles are generally either 23/24 days with the odd 27/28 thrown in. So I'm not sure what to do. Going to try and leave it.

Mini12 · 20/01/2020 08:35

@JO138 so sorry your having to go through this scare, how are feeling today?

@AlviesMam sorry that you find yourself on this thread, I know what you mean about worrying about putting on weight, I put on more weight after TFMR but I found I was able to conceive (also size 14) so hopefully you will too

Mangoandbroccoli · 20/01/2020 09:32

Welcome @AlviesMam, but so sorry you find yourself here. Size 14 still sounds perfectly reasonable for conceiving so hopefully it won't be a problem and it happens for you again soon ❤️

JO138 · 20/01/2020 09:52

Thanks ladies. I am sorry for rehashing horrible experiences you've had but I have zero miscarriage or bleeding experience and to say I'm a bit neurotic at the mo is an understatement! Things haven't progressed or escalated and the only bit I've had today was a few drops when I went to the loo which makes me think the two are likely linked. The midwife did recommend lactulose. I will go and pick some up today.

Are you in the GP today @Treaclepie19? Feeling any better?

So sorry for your loss @AlviesMam. Fingers crossed for you. TTC is definitely a stressful time and personally having fallen pregnant quite easily previously ttc after a tfmr was a whole new and stressful ballgame! I had a termination in July and got pregnant on my 4th cycle after recovery but it felt like years!

Treaclepie19 · 20/01/2020 10:51

@JO138 it does sound linked! Lactulose will help :)
Yeah I've got an appointment with the nurse this afternoon. I do feel a little better typically.

Conorgog · 20/01/2020 11:00

@JO138, that is good to hear! Prune yogurt sounds gross though, fibre is good. 😂

@Mangoandbroccoli I’ve asked about the statistic - I don’t think anyone actually knows the rational behind it but it was explained to me that once you have had one, your ‘more likely’ to have another, I’ve never been treated as though I’m 1 in 100 though so who knows - when they do the combined test your past results are used in the calculation of risk - and mine churned out 1 in 1600.

Welcome @AlviesMam, sorry for what you have been through. I don’t think a little extra weight is harmful at all, fingers crossed for you!

@treaclepie19 good luck for the end of the week!

Thank you!
The nurse actually did a test while I was there even though I told her it would be negative even if I was pregnant. They never listen to me but hey. It was negative.
I'm on some antibiotics now and freaking out about taking them in case I am actually pregnant 😔

JO138 · 20/01/2020 20:14

@Treaclepie19 did they at least give you pregancy safe antibiotics just in case? Hope you are feeling better soon. 🤞

Treaclepie19 · 20/01/2020 20:17

@JO138 well I was worried about that because it says to check with a dr before taking them but my dh had a look online and they do seem to be safe. I'm not getting my hopes up too much though.
Thanks :) I'm a bit frustrated as the issue I went with they couldn't really answer but I have a uti so she's treating that.

ShootingStar2020 · 20/01/2020 21:02

@Treaclepie19 - hope you are feeling better and fingers crossed.

@AlviesMam - welcome but as others have said, I am so sorry you find yourself here.
Hope you get some good news tomorrow.

@Mangoandbroccoli - get that royal jelly down you girl!!

Xxxx

AlviesMam · 20/01/2020 21:11

@Treaclepie19 I'm going to test once I'm a day late. Again no strong symptoms tonight just a slightly lower back ache and bloatation. Vivid dreams this past week and a lot of burping which was a sign last time but who knows!?!

I think when I ever get my BFP I'll be so scared too :(

@ShootingStar2020 @Mangoandbroccoli @Mini12
Thank you all. Sending strength and positivity xxxxxx

Treaclepie19 · 21/01/2020 07:30

Fingers crossed for you @AlviesMam!

I didn't test this morning. May do tomorrow if still no period.
I'm on cd24 today. My last few cycles have been 23/23/27/24 so should have an answer soon.

Not sure if the infection is progressing or I reacted to the antibiotics but I felt horrible last night. Shall ring the doctors this morning 😩

JO138 · 21/01/2020 09:16

Oh no @Treaclepie19. With luck they can give you alternative antibiotics. I have had bad luck with antibiotics in the past with one kind starting as feeling a bit ill then then within a few days ending as really severe sickness so I would say if you feel rubbish I would see if they can try something else.

@AlviesMam fingers crossed. I have to say as lovely as a BFP is for me it was the start of the stress and anxiety. I'm in for my NIPT bloods tomorrow so expecting a sleepless 5 nights after that. 🤞

I'm on the train between a woman who bathed in perfume and a smoker. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

Treaclepie19 · 21/01/2020 09:26

@JO138 I've phoned them before taking another as it really put me off! I've never had a problem with any other antibiotics.

Eek! Hope your train ride isn't too long 🙈

Mini12 · 21/01/2020 13:35

@JO138 oh no, not an ideal position to be on a train!!! Sometimes I wish we could wear them masks they have in Tokyo 🤣

Good luck for your NIPT tomorrow! Hold tight for next 5/6 days keep busy, sending positive vibes!!!! 🤞🤞

JO138 · 21/01/2020 15:17

Thanks @Mini12 I was thinking about you this afternoon as I was worrying about not feeling so nauseous 🤣🤣 Which was of course followed by a strong urge to throw up 🤢 . I complain about symptoms then worry at the slightest sign of relief.

I am however just sat at my desk and have eaten a bag of Malteasers which are sitting like a brick in my tummy. 🤢

How are you feeling? Any symptoms yet? How many weeks are you now, 6ish?

I'm slightly stressed for the NIPT tomorrow and just desperately want instant results! 5 days of deep breaths! My DH is away Thursday to Sunday so will be trying to stay busy. I've been so grumpy and short with DS I might treat him this weekend for not running away from home! 😬

Treaclepie19 · 21/01/2020 15:23

Definitely plan in some treats for both of you @JO138. You deserve them!

CD24 now and going a bit insane. I'm 99% sure my period is coming but also desperate to test 🤦‍♀️

ShootingStar2020 · 21/01/2020 17:17

@JO138 - best of luck for tomorrow. You are about to get over the next big hurdle. No doubt terrifying but also exciting at the same time. Hugs 😘

AlviesMam · 21/01/2020 18:55

@Treaclepie19 I really thought my period was coming too it was due today and still no sign. CD28 and I'm never late.
It's a total mind game and I'm scared to test.
:( xx

Treaclepie19 · 21/01/2020 18:57

Eek @AlviesMam Flowers it's good that it hasn't shown up yet!
I'm going to test in the morning, if you're up to it we could do it together. I'm expecting a negative as we weren't even meant to be ttc so only dtd once 🙄

AlviesMam · 21/01/2020 19:00

@Treaclepie19 do you think I should test in the morning 🙈 I will be up for that lol! I was convinced AF was on her way was getting that feeling.... is it still possible to be pregnant even if I felt my normal feeling of coming on? X
