Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who enter the Gazebo and sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from ApocalypseCheese, CheerfulYank, Anyfucker, HairExtensions, gomummy, tired mum and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up !

Quiet today on here. My DS just after I got him out of the bath tonight, walked in the lounge, squatted and wee'd and poo'd on my carpet, I swear he deliberatly did it the b*gger! Then I asked DD to stay away from it whilst I put a nappy on DS and grabbed equipment to clear it up, she jumps on sofa, singing and mcuking about and kicks a cushion right into it...

(guess what I did next?)

Anyone got a stiff drink for me?

Sending one your way...DS pooed on our dining room floor yesterday. Why, why, why? Ten feet away from the toilet. Sigh...

Mumcentreplus · 24/06/2010 17:46

if we are admiting our DCs poo related faux pas...my DD 18 months...(still dont know how she did it so quickly)..pooed on the living room ..and promptly spread it liberally across the floor..twas well coated and i was only out of the room for mere minutes!..thank god for laminate floors eh?..

gomummygo · 24/06/2010 18:04

OK this is strange -- is it in the air or something? DS pooed on the living room floor yesterday?! A huge room with hardwood floors yet he selected the only area rug? First time he's ever done something like that...another sigh here....

teaandcakeplease · 24/06/2010 18:12

Something in the air I think as you say GoMummy

Question for the Bench:

Does any of you ever feel guilty because you just want DCs to leave you alone? I had the worst cramps imaginable the other day and I just wanted to lie there with a heating pad and instead it was all, "Mommy? Mommy? Mama? Trains? You want to play trains? You can be Char-wee and I'll be Thomas. Ok? Mom? Can I watch Backyardigans? Will you get me wemonade? Mama? Can we go outside? Mama? Will you read me Llama Llama Red Pajama? Can I watch Kipper? Can I have car cwackers? Mama? Does your tummy hurt? Mommy? I peed in my underwear."

This conversation is but 5 minutes of our day. Sigh...

Tiredmumno1 · 24/06/2010 19:32

Yoo hoo, hey you lot, i would ask what everyones been doing but i think thats obvious

what did you do next tea?

who fancies an archers n lemonade?

Tiredmumno1 · 24/06/2010 19:35

And cheerful i hate it when that happens, especially when i have a headache.

i get asked repeatedly 'wheres mummy', agghh i am here fgs lol.

teaandcakeplease · 24/06/2010 19:49

I confess Cheerful I haven't been that gracious at times to either of mine when I needed some space But then the guilt was horrendous after.

Yes please love an Archer's!

You don't want to know what I did next really as I was rather cross at the cushion being covered in poo

Ahhh well DS poo'd in the bath instead tonight, so I had to scrape it out of the bath instead.

it really sounds like you need it.

i have had a few peeing incidents lately, which is getting on my nerves.

its pure laziness he cant be bothered to use the loo at times.

teaandcakeplease · 24/06/2010 20:16

DS is 17 months, he'll get there in the end. DD has had a few accidents lately too in the potty training dept.

Me too please Tiredmum!

Cheerful I confess that I have felt like that when I have a migraine. It is hard, DS and I have still never really been separated so there is no reprieve even when I am in horrible pain. I have never been able to bring myself to express that "mummy needs a minute right now" out loud - I am plagued by guilt even thinking it . Have always blamed the years of TTC/surgeries/horrible pregnancy/traumatic birth and ultimately our gratefulness for his being in the world at all; I know that at some point he needs to learn that others (ie. mummy) have needs too and I shouldn't be a "martyr" type thing....but the guilt at even thinking that I just need 10 minutes to be in pain is unbelievable! I have now developed a little box containing odds and ends that he doesn't get access to at any other time an when I am really bad I pull out the box...tis my only solution so far.

Sorry to hear about the cramps, they can be brutal.

Tiredmumno1 · 24/06/2010 22:33

Hiya gomummy

gomummygo · 24/06/2010 23:12

Sorry to hear that Cheeky. Would you like to tell us about the week or today? It does help...

CheekyBigBrotherFan · 24/06/2010 23:34

I'm on my phone so sorry for typos. Firstly sunday night my hubby was rushed in hospital with heart problems, irratic heart rate. Paramedic said his heart was like a recovering heart attack victims. He is 28 year old. I have never being so scared in my life

Then today I log in to the mums site that I am a moderator on only to find that I have being demoted to a regylar member. I was told that its because I'm not active enough...well no I'm off having a life with my kids and spending time with them, gfoing to town and school, also I don't contribute to modding the forum. Sorry but if it was active enough to do thingsa like moving posts then I would but it isn't. Then I get told I'm aggtesive

People need to realise i do not rule my life to live how others want me to. I am who i am, i say things how i see it, i speak my mind. If people dont like that then they are not worth my time unfortunately.

CheekyBigBrotherFan · 24/06/2010 23:39

Ohhhh hold the lemonade, il have a neat Archers lol

gomummygo · 25/06/2010 00:04

Poor you Cheeky. So sorry to hear about your DH, that is scary. How is he doing now?

CheekyBigBrotherFan · 25/06/2010 00:06

Yes he seems fine now, he has some hospital appointments but attend but they are 2 & 4 weeks away so NHS not rushing even though there is a history of Heart Failure in his family, 5 of his uncles died between the ages od 30-40 of Heart Failure.
