that's it really. I don't even 100% know why but I can't stand them. Some reasons are they are horrible colours and ridiculously expensive, unnecessary to spend that surely? And it seems to me (round here anyway) that BugaBoo owners are v smug - "only the best for my children" types. Someone I know insisted on getting one and they have so little money that half the time she can't afford to even get on a bus to do anything, so she and her kid sit inside all day, pretty much every day. Better to get a cheaper travel system and let the poor child get some fresh air IMHO... ooh, they just really make my blood boil. Happy to be put straight by proud BugaBoo owners

better luck next time eh

LordVolAuVent · 18/05/2010 23:10

I like the word smuggery, used earlier. Is it a real word? I enjoy it, whatever. I would've said smugness but no longer.

scottishmummy · 18/05/2010 23:12

smuggley mcsmug and cowbag were funniest.and do you really have a roller then

LordVolAuVent · 18/05/2010 23:13

Moi? Of course. Do you?

OP posts:
ginhag · 18/05/2010 23:13

Smuggery is definitely a Good Word. Words that sound a bit like swearing are always good. Not sure that it's a real word but I shall embrace it anyway.

scottishmummy · 18/05/2010 23:15

scottishmummy · 18/05/2010 23:17

LordVolAuVent · 18/05/2010 23:17

I wouldn't think that JoJo Maman Bebe is grown up Gin hag, the workers in the branch I visited had regional accents!! Don't let those peasants intimidate you, even in your Birkenstocks

bibbitybobbityhat · 18/05/2010 23:18

Oh no, NiceShoes I love ScottishMummy. As she loves me. She does.

LordVolAuVent · 18/05/2010 23:18

Is the BugaBoo so excellent that you can push 3 at a time with ease, SM? Or do you have a help for that too?

OP posts:
scottishmummy · 18/05/2010 23:19

i have marc jacob gladiator dont like birkenstocks, they look spoony.

scottishmummy · 18/05/2010 23:21

my staff walk deferentially behind me as i walk in a fug of stella (perfume) not beer. let the wee folk push the weans

ginhag · 18/05/2010 23:24

Yeah scottishmummy but you probably have pretty little feet, not giant mutant hammertoes like me. No point putting them in pretty shoes,I would be sobbing in pain. And still have hideous feet

I mostly live in converse (well I don't actually live in them, that would be weird.and not very roomy)

I am expecting that someone here will have something against them too? C'mon, form an orderly queue...

scottishmummy · 18/05/2010 23:24

love converse the all star shoes.style icon

LadyThompson · 18/05/2010 23:25

I love mine because it wheels like a dream and I love the flexibility of the travel system, the adjustable height of the handles etc etc. Er, couldn't give a toss whether Gwyneth Paltrow had one or not They are expensive, yes, but on the other hand, given that I have used it every day since my cs scar was ok enough for me to wheel a buggy (DD now 18 months and expecting another one in September), it must have cost me pence per day. The absolute best thing I bought for my baby, for sheer practicality alone. Um, not everyone who buys these pushchairs has the same hang ups that the OP seems to.

ginhag · 18/05/2010 23:25

I favour a fug of Stella (beer) myself.

scottishmummy · 18/05/2010 23:27

haha!spray it liberally.because you are worth it

ginhag · 18/05/2010 23:29
LordVolAuVent · 18/05/2010 23:29

Ah no, gin hag, like the converse myself, Your feet sound vile though, I hate feet. More than I hate BugaBoos.

OP posts:
scottishmummy · 18/05/2010 23:30

may i suggest you accessorise with fags and crisps. tres chic

ginhag · 18/05/2010 23:32

Aha but you have feet...

LordVolAuVent · 18/05/2010 23:32

Do you work for BugaBoo, LadyThompson? If so, could why it's called Bugaboo and why they're named after reptilian wildlife? And one insect, it seems
