I heard him being interviewed this morning on the Today programme.

Firstly, it turns out he's not racist or against immigration! Apparently, he says it's ok for French people to come here (there's not that many that want to so its ok). AND he says that Irish people can come here too because they're really all British! So that's nice. I was a bit confused because I thought they'd spent all those years bombing us because they didn't want to be British but I guess I've got that all wrong.

He's not going to let Algerian asylum seekers come though, but I don't think it matters because they'll just get killed where they are in their own country so that won't be a problem for them much longer.

And the best thing is... he's going to give £50,000 to anyone who's not "pure British" to leave the country and go back to where they came from! How cool is that! So I'm now deciding whether to go back to my Great-Grandmother's origins in Russia, or my Great Grandfather's in Finland. Now, apparently this money is going to come from what he called stupid anti-Climate Change projects so although much of Russia and pretty much all of Finland is a bit chilly, as the climate changes because they money is being spent on me, they'll get warmer and I'll be all toasty!

DP I don't hate you, I disagree with your politics, I find it hard to understand why you are so angry with the world.

On other threads I might agree with you, that is one thing about MN you need to learn, that unless someone is saying xxx you are a c**t and I want you to die it is not personal, a different opinion is not a personal dislike

It's posters like Tanee58 who make MN a fantastic place, someone who can listen to views that she clearly doesn't agree with, but can reply with such understanding and kindness....I will read a 1000 posts telling me I'm a troll and I should be kicked off MN, and just when I think I can't take anymore....I get a reply like T58's...

I hate most of the BNP high command for obviosu reasons - one of them has the car number plate N4Z1 . They are racist and offensive. I see all kinds of idiotic stuff they have done and feel sickened quite honestly. Sadly some of their followers are no better. On the MN facebook site one Claire Khaw (very BNP following) made hideous comments regarding disabled children just a few weeks ago. She's very anti MN so evidently she joined the FB group just to make offensive posts. Tbh when I see the BNP make the stupid comments they do I feel surprised that any intelligent person could consider voting for them. They prey on people's fears and insecurities to further their own nasty agenda.

DP, I hope I am not being 'played'. I think many posters would try to speak with kindness and understanding - it's when we feel we are speaking into empty air, or you say something completely inflammatory and unsubstantiated, that we give up. I fear the BNP because they have intelligent leaders who are able to manipulate the less discerning. Why do they do that? Is it for the good of the nation? Is it, bollocks. It's for power. I fear people who will smile and chat with me to my face, and think 'wog, go home', behind my back. I really, really hope you rethink your views - I like to like people, and I would not want to fear you.
