I heard him being interviewed this morning on the Today programme.

Firstly, it turns out he's not racist or against immigration! Apparently, he says it's ok for French people to come here (there's not that many that want to so its ok). AND he says that Irish people can come here too because they're really all British! So that's nice. I was a bit confused because I thought they'd spent all those years bombing us because they didn't want to be British but I guess I've got that all wrong.

He's not going to let Algerian asylum seekers come though, but I don't think it matters because they'll just get killed where they are in their own country so that won't be a problem for them much longer.

And the best thing is... he's going to give £50,000 to anyone who's not "pure British" to leave the country and go back to where they came from! How cool is that! So I'm now deciding whether to go back to my Great-Grandmother's origins in Russia, or my Great Grandfather's in Finland. Now, apparently this money is going to come from what he called stupid anti-Climate Change projects so although much of Russia and pretty much all of Finland is a bit chilly, as the climate changes because they money is being spent on me, they'll get warmer and I'll be all toasty!

As a white British born Christian and the mother of two white British born Christian sons, I have no problem with their school/cub group taking them to visit places of worship used by other faiths, why would I object to them being shown other ways of life?

When DS2 goes to tea at the house of his Muslim friend he gets fed halal chicken, I don't mind, it is chicken not poison, when his friend comes to tea with us he has Pizza, the world is not made up of millions of one type of person and it never will be and mayby if you put this much passion in to making it a better place other then a more hate filled one DP you would go farther

So they get these councils

They remove all the children with SN from schools and put them... where?

They get all families who do not meet their "britishness" criteria and turf them man, woman and child out of their homes and onto the streets

They will undoubtedly "lose" or fail to process benefits applications from families with "forrin names" and leave them hungry and homeless

Presumably coucil money for old people/old peoples homes will be slashed as let's face it many of them are disabled

Women will be encouraged to pack in their jobs and return to home. How? I'm sure they'd find a way. maybe patrol the streets harrassign women on their way to work.

They could direct the police to turn down attention to things like DV, rape and racial/other "ist" problems and devote their time to other things instead. Like moving on homeless families.

They would tell the police to use force/beatings in certain situations.

They would instruct teachers to beat school children and if they refused would presumably recruit new teachers for whom beating children was a pleasure rather than a chore

and so on and so on.

Sounds great to me, really good fun.

Following RunAwayWife's thread (and I know this will out me Dp but dont name me please) as a white Christian mum of 4 white christian boys married to a white (Agnostic) bloke I ahve studied world faiths becuase I beleive that education, experience and breaking down the barriers of fear and misinformations are the keys to an equal and caring society

Had it not been for the SN I would have been out there right now teaching that

Being a Christian means I see people as humans first, foremost and only. Being white is irrelevant. Having SN kids means I understand both the joy and hardship that is inherent in being a carer. As a human I feel love and do not care if that is hetero or same sex love, why would I?

Having a faith emnans I want the right to follow that and there is no reason why mine is speical so I want to share that with all faiths- Muslims, Jewish people, Sikhs, Hindus, jains, Buddhists- whoever

Your proclaimed lifestyle does not equate with the outcoime of what you want, I don't know iof that isn political naivety, if it is thinly veiled acceptance of the negative side, if you like trouble stirring or if you are a BNP activist planted here. Do I care? Nah. But I think the freedom of speech thing ahs worn off now and it's time for MN to consider making a stand.

It makes me feel utterly ashamed of my home city, Stoke on Trent, that so many people believe in this vile party. They prey on those areas that are deprived and where education and employment levels are below the average. DP you make me sick to my stomach. I can't engage with this, I can't.

Ok, I don't think they are misogynistic, they have females high up in the party who have been vital to their success, if they hated women as much as you seem to think, I doubt women would be working for them tbh.

It's true they are focused on the traditional family, hetrosexual marriage, women staying at home until the dc are at school, that sort of thing, but the tories have similar ideas.

Wow - this thread seemed funny and ironic at first - until DP came in - and I wanted to quote the poem that RunawayWife has already quoted.

DP, if you are not a troll, PLEASE read this poem and think about it. The writer wound up in the concentration camps. Many otherwise intelligent and reasonable Germans voted for Hitler, because they thought the Nazi Party would get Germany out of the mess it was in after WW1. They thought they could control the Party, make it work for them to improve the country.

But eventually, the Party came for them. What will you feel when the BNP 'develop' their policies beyond what you voted for? How will you feel, when they come for your DH? Or your children? Or you?

i can only presume it is because you are ashamed, operating outside the law or are lying about being an activist

the women high up in the party are hardly role models, and rape has been compared to a woman being force fed chocolate cake and that her handbag being stolen would be more inconvenient

that is truly hatred of women, don't really see the other parties spoutng that level of hatred
