I am in a nasty situation at the moment whereby I have found myself arrested and I am currently on bail for an accusation of fraud by position because I paid for my old netball teams affiliation on my credit card and then when peoples cheques for their contribution were paid into netball teams bank account I took back money to pay off my credit card which was agreed as a team this is how it would work but one malicious woman has told the police she did not agree etc etc so as treasurer i have now been framed. I have not slept for last 10 days or so whilst all this is being investigated as even though I have done nothing wrong I feel unsettled.

I am a childminder. On monday I lost my full timer as her mum left college, Yesterday I had a lot of stress as the parents often bring sick children to me e.g. sickness & diarrhoea anyway yesterday I felt enough was enough as two children came in like that and the mother lied to me so I gave notice to all my under 5's as I can't afford to pay my assistant anymore and I just felt it was more stress but have I been stupid whilst so much else is going on in my life?

ds's nursery asked me whether I wanted a straight jacket or a suit with arrows on and for them to come and visit me or if I was happy to visit them for parents evening.

I am going to put pressure on solicitor to get info as have to go back in week to police station and want this sorted before then

i have just had a heart attack reading your thread - i am one of the signatories on our (small) netball team account and because both of us signaturies were off having babies last august the girl who was running the team for us did exactely this - paid for the affiliation out of her own money and then collected the money from the team (which we banked) and then reimbursed her.
I didnt think we were doing anything wrong!

hogshead please learn from this however I do not feel now that anything was wrong I feel it is malicious and evil and the girl concerned knows that the more i learn about all this the more annoyed I am. I originally thought she had gone to police in December I now know that she reported me on 1st October the evil bitch was still contacting me late November all being pally pally

Mouseface my dp is being amazingly supportive and without her I would not have got through this I don't think she realises how much support she is giving

LM1 this is so so horrible for you - we've always had two signatures on the account thinking we were protecting ourselves and more often than not i end up out of pocket when it comes to affiliation monies!

no news on the bitch and no way of finding out if and when she back either unfortunately but my gp said she will have to come back soon as they only say immobile to fly for up to 4 weeks normally and been that long already

Just discovered this thread and I'm horrified - A. that you've been through something so frightening and upsetting, B. that I've got to watch myself, as I pay our netball fees, then the girls pay me back (well, most of them, eventually) and C. that this beeatch is still allowed on court - she brings the good name of netball into disrepute. Some small consolation that her DVT will keep her out of the game for a while. Humpf!

Definitely. She's not a team player. To say the least.

Solicitor rung today to say highly unlikely I will hear anything else til Monday or Tuesday and just plan as if I have to go in for bail and see what happens

Thank goodness for that. I've only just seen this thread, wasn't aware of it before but was getting so het up for you. I can't see how there could have been any case to answer - you received x amount of money for paying something. x amount of money was paid.
