I love a good birth story

Weaning threads, on the other hand, make me want to hunt Annabel Karmel down and shove a Moulie blender up her jacksy

scottishmummy · 28/02/2010 19:50

don't forget to link Professor Dribble, and research that Formula causes piles, plooks, tennis elbow and Halitosis. also include a few emotive statements about how formula is chemicals and dried fish eyes.

TabithaSmith · 28/02/2010 19:53

...and that bf-ing protects you against every known human illness + being thick and ugly

PinkKumquat · 28/02/2010 20:03

Formula is much better surely.

Nancy66 · 28/02/2010 20:05

formula, Tango, Tizer, Sprite - all the same.
Tango is made with oranges so that's gotta be good for them.

tethersend · 28/02/2010 20:05

If you HATE your children, then yes, it is.

TabithaSmith · 28/02/2010 20:11

Yes, I hate my kids. I sold their souls to Cow and Gate at birth.

Francagoestohollywood · 28/02/2010 20:14

What's the breastfeeding on the bus thread?

Nellykats · 28/02/2010 20:15

Breastfeeding is more than a physiological function, it can also be a political thing as it's an action (or lack of it) that attracts attention, comments, abuse, issues of discrimination etc. And of course it's a major psychological thing too.

So "am I doing it right?" should be in the breasfeeding question

whereas

"why can't all willing women do it right" could belong equally to this section

So YABU

BF on the bus.lassie made up story she got papped off bus for bf.big hooha about it,transpires she was lying

the driver was investigated, statement taken etc.but cctv show her leaving bus no intervention from driver story made up caught out by cctv

Francagoestohollywood · 28/02/2010 20:32

Thanks SM.

ImSoNotTelling · 28/02/2010 20:43

Oooh bus lady waters muddied by fact that she has been on MN, has attended a meet up, met other mners and seemed v nice and normal and one of us. So huge debate as to whether CCTV is fakey concoction of bus company to get out of everyone thinking they are meany types. Cos this lady is v nice you know and that.

scottishmummy · 28/02/2010 20:50

nice?with an apparent penchant for HUMONGOUS lies too it would seem.so lets guess all her mn mates pile in and stick up for her.was it a big ole male bus company conspiracy then

whatever her reason it has all got out of hand.harman got involved, making statement about it

poor driver, having to give statements and an investigation

runnybottom · 28/02/2010 20:50

AIBU thinking that threads bitching about things other posters find quite interesting should be on another site?

Anyone can discuss what they like and they don't need a ticket from the yawn i've been here forever and its all been done before up their own arses brigade.

How about you fuck off back to chat and dribble about Corrie or bumsex or some such?

TabithaSmith · 28/02/2010 20:54

Yes, YABU @ runny

BF and bumsex topics attract the same level of nutjobber, but the bumsex-ers aren't as angry, I find.

tethersend · 28/02/2010 20:55

Is there bumsex on Corrie now? On buses?

scottishmummy · 28/02/2010 21:06

it might explain the sticky seats on the bus

tittybangbang · 28/02/2010 21:06

YABFU

I love bf threads.

So many ishoos.

So little time.

Kewcumber · 28/02/2010 21:07

i am with you op (links arms)> couldnt breast feed ds _ not his fault not my fault

but have hidden bf threads

when they crop up in chat they are like a scab that i shouldnt pick but cant help myself and once more read how my ds had an inferior start in life

theres only so much of it i can take so please keep your bf topics in bf section

pretty please?

runnybottom · 28/02/2010 21:11

Could you just give us a list of who we should consult before being allowed post, save us all a bit of time?

mrsboogie · 28/02/2010 21:13

haha I love that "it won't be on his cv".

the thing I can never understand is why some bfers care so much about whether other people do it or not. I mean, why that and not any other parenting choice?

scottishmummy · 28/02/2010 21:14

the responsibility for threads read lies with the individual reading it, not the poster

so whilst one may have issues/feel avoidant of topics the onus is upon them not to read.

not the poster not to post

and thread location is somewhat subjective.whether one feels het up and AIBU territory or inquisitive and chat territory

tethersend · 28/02/2010 21:19

Has anyone mentioned the nazis yet? What was their take on bumsex?
