I was in the Waitrose baby isle and couldn't help overhearing her tell her equally old friend that she was going to buy some nice ham for lunch but her DCs would be having chopped pork?!?

OP posts:
pollywollydoodle · 23/02/2010 11:38

maybe her dc doesn't like nice ham...mine doesn't.

thehillsarealive · 23/02/2010 11:40

how old is old?

chopped pork, yuk, but my children like it. ham I am not keen on either, but each to their own.

Eh? I have nice ham, my dsd has the cheap stuff. It's all she'll eat. What's the relevance of age?

BariatricObama · 23/02/2010 11:49

i saw one accidently use her baby as a bowling ball because she had forgotten her bifocals,

thehillsarealive · 23/02/2010 11:50

that would NEVER happen in Waitrose OP, NEVER i say!

ASda, yes, WAitrose NEVER!!!

greygirl · 23/02/2010 11:54

GetOrfMoiLand · 23/02/2010 13:28

Older mum overheard in pharmacist:

'oh no I have mistaken dentugrip for sudocrem (another lost bifocals issue) will it harm the baby?'

BariatricObama · 23/02/2010 13:29

snort! and then she held up a cat

GetOrfMoiLand · 23/02/2010 13:30

BariatricObama · 23/02/2010 13:31

how many older mums does it take to change a lightbulb?

2

one to change the bulb and the other to hold up the flash cards to the babies face explaining incandescence
