Wow, how exciting to log on and find so many replies on my very first (and probably last ) thread. It's interesting (to me only, I expect) that LeQueen features so rivetingly prominently in it, with her stalkers/lying/complex relationship with AnyFucker, since it was reading her threads, with comments that bordered on bullying (even if she was soliciting them..), that partly prompted this thread. Sorry, that's an overly long sentence with far too many brackets, but I'm very tired as was off to bed then discovered all these replies and just had to read them.
AbiAbi, yes - I meant AIBU; I should've been clearer. Having said that, the first MN threads I came across were about pets, and I was astonished at how heated, judgemental and confrontational things got. I went from there to AIBU and was simultaneously hooked and repulsed, so I guess I've missed the better parts of the site. The anonymity seems to give people license to say things they wouldn't dream of saying in person. I'm sure many of the other threads are very different.
Anyhow, it's been very entertaining to read all this, and thanks to Undertone, kat2907, WorkingItOutAsIGo, hbfac and AnyFucker for making me laugh out loud, scaring the puppy sleeping in my lap.
