I just can't stay away from AIBU....it's a more compulsive and shameful addiction than reading the Daily Mail online; same sense of barely-suppressed hatred and scorn, same vicious female bitchiness and judgemental outrage.

Happy New Year all of you...

AIBU is the very worst thing that happened to MN

IMHO

snowedinwithJjandtheBean · 03/01/2010 00:12

yanbu, i barely look at other threads!

brimfull · 03/01/2010 00:13

no I don't like AIBU

AnyFucker · 03/01/2010 00:13

I am embracing AIBU

have virtually banned myself from relationships, so have to have something to take it's place ...

BoysAreLikeDogs · 03/01/2010 00:13

TBH I usually follow Slubbers' advice which is to stick to cooking and camping, with occasional forays into castles of north Wales and a dash of Style with a bit of chat

Morloth · 03/01/2010 00:14

Yes yes, we are all mean. I thought it had been a week or so since one of these...

Lucianne3 · 03/01/2010 00:14

lol all of you

Eh? Are some people not entitled to their own opinion?

I've not seen any bitchiness here for a long while. YABU.

DollyMessiter · 03/01/2010 00:14

lol @ that recipe for harmony, bald

purpleduck · 03/01/2010 00:15

i catch myself nearly saying YABU (yaboo)

ie "sweetheart, yaboo, please just do as I have asked"

I think it should be its own word

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 03/01/2010 00:16

Ah yes, where is Slubbers?????

[pines]

Lucianne3 · 03/01/2010 00:17

Gosh Morloth, you sound so weary...you obviously spend too much time on here being filled with judgemental hatred

YANBU The addiction is even worse if you have an iPhone. I find myself logging on when my DS wakes up for his night feeds as something to keep myself occupied. Long after he's finished feeding, I still find myself trawling AIBU threads

Morloth · 03/01/2010 00:20

I never weary of judgemental hatred is like a warm bath of goodness.

Wastwinsetandpearls · 03/01/2010 00:21

I think that there have been some truely awul moments on AIBU.

Lucianne3 · 03/01/2010 00:26

ijustwanttoaskaquestion · 03/01/2010 00:44

BitOfFun · 03/01/2010 00:54

If someone can be happily be be-smugged by BonsoirAnna, they are a comedy genius in my book

BoysAreLikeDogs · 03/01/2010 00:55

I concur BoF

picmaestress · 03/01/2010 00:58

YANBU, I spend weeks avoiding AIBU, but get drawn back. It's an astonishing place, full of the most unexpected/useful stuff.

My troll-radar is rubbish.

FluffyForLifeNotJustForXmas · 03/01/2010 01:02

It's old stuff now, best to leave it. Life's too short.
