AIBU to be annoyed when I make a really good point on a thread

and then it's ignored, and either I have to repeat it, or then someone else comes and makes exactly the same point and everyone goes "oh yes, that's quite clever" "what a good and inciteful point" and so on. Maybe I should just type in caps?
So, AIBU?

OP posts:
Hullygully · 03/12/2009 16:45

it is also a fact of MN so you will need to get used to it. Gah.

Hullygully · 03/12/2009 16:46

Just noticed "inciteful" in the OP. Never a truer word..

Jamieandhismagictorch · 03/12/2009 16:46

I love it when other poster studiously ignore comments that are there for a giggle.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 03/12/2009 16:47

Jeez, I can't believe we even bothered to go on this thread if the OP is too ignerant to be able to spell properly

Hullygully · 03/12/2009 16:48

It happens to me a lot because I am exceptionally clever and empathic, but tend to post too near to the beginning of a thread

Jamieandhismagictorch · 03/12/2009 16:50

How long are we going to keep this up ?

Just asking .....

GibbonInARibbon · 03/12/2009 16:52

IT HAPPENS TO ME A LOT BECAUSE I AM EXCEPTIONALLY CLEVER AND EMPATHIC, BUT TEND TO POST TOO NEAR TO THE BEGINNING OF A THREAD.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 03/12/2009 16:54

dont type in capitals, it just looks like you are shouting.

You loon

Hullygully · 03/12/2009 16:54

Sorry, who are you?

Okay - gotta go do the bloody tea.

pagwatch · 03/12/2009 16:55

I think you are right Gibbon.
No one has really expessed it as clearly as that before. Everyone else on this thread has been talking crap

Jamieandhismagictorch · 03/12/2009 16:55

What you having ?

I have made spag. bol. From scratch

GibbonInARibbon · 03/12/2009 16:57

I am currently laughing (out loud don't cha know) at my wit and am gushing over my charm.

See that works too, as Dr Phil would say - you have to love yourself before others can love you. Word.

Hullygully · 03/12/2009 16:58

Same (bet 95% of us are...), but with soya mince cos I don't do cow.

No one has really expessed it as clearly as that before.

GibbonInARibbon · 03/12/2009 16:58

lmao Pag

This thread has made me smile

pagwatch · 03/12/2009 17:01

I am going to stich trhat into a cushion. It is my hearts mantra.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 03/12/2009 17:02

Mine is lamb. So I suppose that makes it Shepherd's Bolognaise. Or something......

Eeee, this has right cheered me up.

Will we all remember each other for ever and worm our way into those "my favourite MNer" threads ?

Jamieandhismagictorch · 03/12/2009 17:07

pag I was recently described as "smug and sanctimonious" on a thread about hitting.

I rather like that too

tethersend · 03/12/2009 17:08

Can I be the one to post a light-hearted facetious comment just as the OP reveals a truly tragic and heartbreaking fact that throws the entire situation into a different light?

Please?

I am the queen of the x-post.

Hullygully · 03/12/2009 17:08

I've NEVER been in one of those. But BALD did start one just for me. .

pagwatch · 03/12/2009 17:10

It scans well....

I'll have to think about it.

Personally I see myself as a "twat" really. Pithy and to the point. As well.

GibbonInARibbon · 03/12/2009 17:12

tethers

pagwatch · 03/12/2009 17:13

tethersend

I love people who do that.

I am good at the hugely inapproriate and unfunny response to an innocent question, like the lady who was worried about her toddler son sticking his finger in his bum and I asked if they had any small toys or pets missing.

I get

quite a lot.

In my head it is really funny but everyone else is wondering what is wrong with me.

LadyOfTheFlowers · 03/12/2009 17:13

Have I missed something?

LadyOfTheFlowers · 03/12/2009 17:13

Clearly yes, but what ?!
