To be totally amazed at this disgusting t shirt by Suzi Warren

I stumbled upon this website selling baby/toddler t shirts designed by Suzi Warren, and was shocked at the t shirt with 'i do fuck all'. I think that it is totally inappropriate and disgusting and would never buy it in a million years, what right minded parent would. Mabey it would appeal to the Vicky Pollard types. She justifies this by saying that quoting from Take a Break this week that "this is not a t shirt for children. This is a t shirt for adults which is funny when worn by a baby" WTF what planet is this woman from, i neither find it funny or cute

the outrage it provokes is quite funny though

KnickKnackLovesLateLateToyShow · 29/11/2009 10:25

I quite like this one though

pigletmania · 29/11/2009 10:26

at last someone with sense agrees. how do you post the link i can never get it to work. Who would want a t shirt for a BABY with a swear word on it, for adults yes but not for babies, they dont have a choice in the matter do they! Suzi Warren designs plenty of other funny t shirts without being disgusting

That's absurd, and will hopefully only be worn by 12 month olds who are not taken into situations where, other, older, reading age children are around.

MitchyInge · 29/11/2009 10:28

do you really think swearing is disgusting?

Disenchanted3 · 29/11/2009 10:28

I thought it was funny.

KnickKnackLovesLateLateToyShow · 29/11/2009 10:28

put and at either end of you link

joke ? £500? joke and boak

KnickKnackLovesLateLateToyShow · 29/11/2009 10:31

Mitch, how do you explain to a 6yr old that its ok for baby to have a fuck tshirt, but not ok to swear?

Disenchanted3 · 29/11/2009 10:33

My kids hear me say fuck and know not to repeat it.

Its just a t-shirt.

Nobody is getting stabbed.

MitchyInge · 29/11/2009 10:33

I've never told my children that it's not ok to swear, I've only ever told them about the sort of response they can expect from people in various situations if they do swear.

KnickKnackLovesLateLateToyShow · 29/11/2009 10:34

yep its just a tshirt...but its tacky as fuck

HeadlessLadyH · 29/11/2009 10:35

The one with the snarling dog on is worse. Horrid.
why

pigletmania · 29/11/2009 10:36

Yes Mitchy it is, well not disgusting but just not nice, even though i do it myself sometimes in front of dd but mainly under my breath. Not something to be proud of is it. Dont want your child to be the top swearer in the nursery then!

OP posts:
MillyR · 29/11/2009 10:36

I don't think swearing is disgusting, but I am aware that others in society do, and do not want swearing in front of their small children.

I don't see any real reason to go around offending other people by randomly swearing or wearing swear clothes.

How that can be seen as in any way a point of debate I do not know.

pigletmania · 29/11/2009 10:37

thanks knickkanck

Its the asumption that if you put your child in that tshirts you are some sick, deprived person whos not worthy to raise a child.

Some people just have darker sense of humour. Its not harming anyone.

And people do buy them or else they wouldn't be made.
If someone is really a crappy low life parent I'm sure they wouldn't spend £20 on a tshirt for their child!

pigletmania · 29/11/2009 10:40

To me that t shirt is in the same vein as thongs and heels for little girls

OP posts:
MitchyInge · 29/11/2009 10:41

I'd honestly be more offended by spelling mistakes or misused/missing apostrophes on t-shirts than a profanity.

Disenchanted3 · 29/11/2009 10:41

Yes because saying 'i do fuck all' is exactly the same as sexualising a child isn't it? There is nothing sexual about that tshirt FFS.
