Where do I hang out? Well, assuming you don't mean my middle-aged muffin top, I'm usually to be found in the tea room over on one-child families. Please drop in. Don't be misled by the name - although many of the regulars there are mothers of one, it's open to everyone and some of our customers are (gasp) mothers of more than one. And thanks to my obsession enthusiasm, we sometimes have ukulele conversations. Jake Thingy (who I think was mentioned earlier on this thread) got a mention last week. Plus there's often booze.

Bumping this thread to report back from the UOGB gig we went to this evening! Verdict: very good indeed, and, most importantly, I had a clear, unobstructed view of Jonty...couldn't determine wedding ring status though. Turns out he not only sings and plays a mean bass ukulele, but he whistles too. That's right, ladies, If you like a man who knows how to whistles, Jonty is that man.

They did Life on Mars, Shaft and quite a few I'd never heard before. Slightly disappointed at no Wuthering Heights though - it's my favourite.

My 8 year old ds has declared his undying passion for Jonty - I'm afraid you've got competition! I suppose you've got 10 years to get in there before ds grows up..........!
