FGS.

I need a distraction!

If I share him with you then perhaps you can tell me that he is infact truly awful and then I will feel better?

Jonty- ffs. What a name. Like Tarquin or Quentin.

NoBiggy · 03/09/2009 00:16

I think that's fair enough actually.

(Sings Life On Mars doesn't he?)

roundededges · 03/09/2009 20:52

Not enough information, but can tell you that you need to try and find something to distract you.. it's not healthy and it feels horrible, and he's probably a total arse, although you haven't given enough information about him, other than he plays the ukelele and is called jonty, but musical types can be a bit dodgy too . . . . take up cycling or something, just don't keep cycling past his house.

CheerfulYank · 03/09/2009 21:00

More info please. And depends. I have a major inappropriate crush on the psychologist at the elementary school where I work though he is probably old enough to be my grandfather. But it's more that he's great at his job and always helpful when dealing with the behaviorially disturbed kids I work with. I would never want to DO anything about it, I just think he's great. And sorta handsome

roundededges · 03/09/2009 21:04

bump

bellawilliams · 03/09/2009 21:05

Stalking is perhaps going too far - but ladies I think we all need the odd crush to keep us sane! And to drop into conversation to keep the other halves jealous.... I have found Chris from cbeebies very attractive at desperate times - not to mention Sportacus.

CheerfulYank · 03/09/2009 21:09

Um, yeah, I think Sportacus is pretty hot.

LoveBuckets · 03/09/2009 21:17

Bellawilliams, do you mean gay Chris or Chris from Doodle Do? The latter one isn't so bizarre

paisleyleaf · 03/09/2009 21:36

haha, I've seen him on Space Pirates
...although I expect you already know that and have it on sky+
would you say he looks like John Simm?

roundededges · 03/09/2009 21:43

come back op, we need more info . .

LoveBuckets · 03/09/2009 21:43

Oh is he out of the Ukulele Orchestra? I saw them at Larmer Tree festival a few years ago, very funny.

BettySuarez · 03/09/2009 22:20

I'm back!

Will try and work out how to do links and add them in a sec.

I would just like to say however that I saw him first

OK, lets see if this works then. He is the bass player on the right of the screen and the main vocal for Life on Mars (great song). I have already noticed the absence of a wedding ring but you have to watch the clip obsessively a few times to catch a glimpse

I'm in love with the whole group to be honest

BettySuarez · 03/09/2009 22:32

And I have a secret, that I might not share just yet (feels like a dirty little secret although it isn't really)

OP posts:
newspaperdelivery · 03/09/2009 22:34

Yer wot?

BitOfFun · 03/09/2009 22:36

Oh we need to know, so we can be appraised of all the facts before judging giving our considered opinions...

newspaperdelivery · 03/09/2009 22:37

Aahhh, the youtube helps. x-posts, sorry.

BettySuarez · 03/09/2009 22:38

Never mind that for now

Verdict please on Jonty?

OP posts:
newspaperdelivery · 03/09/2009 22:38

Agree.

madeupsurname · 03/09/2009 22:39

Sorry, but I am LOLling. He is NOT my type at all. (Sorry Jonty if you are reading this.)

BettySuarez · 03/09/2009 22:41

Cheerful Yank, I would echo everything you have said. Perhaps it is just his musicality that I admire (and his amazing whistling)

OP posts:
GentleOtter · 03/09/2009 22:42

He has a nice nose and fingers.

MillyR · 03/09/2009 22:42

I don't see the issue at all. I always have a crush on some barely famous person. If I feel myself starting to go off one then I make a massive effort to find a replacement.

This Jonty is exactly the sort of not really famous person that makes a suitable crush object.

MadBadOnlyReadsTheBroadsheets · 03/09/2009 22:42

I too am in love with the whole group. I thought if I learnt the ukelele they might let me join.

scroobiuspirate · 03/09/2009 22:43

he has rubbery lips
