He's not a teenager but a father of 3 in his thirties. What the hell is he doing fathering a child with a woman he admits he wasn't serious about - that it was just a fling? Do men just assume that women will take care of the contraception?

Oink oink.

He may have known that he would go bald early, so maybe he's going for it when he can!

I think that he didn't use contraception with 'that' nanny either did he?

Jude is the saint of hopeless causes though isn't he?

lou33 · 02/08/2009 02:17

ugh dont start me

my exh , who is approaching 47, announced to our kids (without warning me in advance) that he is having a baby with his thai gf

the same gf who just over 2 yrs ago told him she was pg then a few months ago told him it wasnt actually his, and attacked him and put him in hospital afterwards

dd1 asked him if he was sure it was actually his this time

i think some men never bloody grow up

he doesnt and never has supported the children we had btw

nakaji · 02/08/2009 02:19

That's the one alright. It drive me mad. I think he's a fine actor and I'm a big fan of a lot of his films - but this feckless irresponsible spoilt brat carry on really turns me off.

OP posts:
lou33 · 02/08/2009 02:31

i dont even rate him as an actor that much

and although i appreciate he isnt exactly a 12 pinter, he does nothing for me at all

sandcastles · 02/08/2009 03:12

And she couldn't be responsible for contraception I suppose?

It takes 2 to make a baby & 2 to prevent making a baby, imo!

stuffitlllama · 02/08/2009 03:54

eh?

it's an accidental pregancy

have you got a big bag of stones you want to throw?

harleyd · 02/08/2009 04:27

i quite like him

tho rite about now i cant remember why

but i have seen films im sure i liked

ClaudiaSchiffer · 02/08/2009 04:48

I don't particularly care about this new child of his, but MY GOD JUDE LAW IS A KNOB.

He is utterly vain and up himself, name one film in which he hasn't been shite. He is so self-obsessed and appears to delight in his craft. Ugh ugh ugh.

Ponce.

Ugh.

HappyMummyOfOne · 02/08/2009 10:48

Took both of them to make the child so dont see why he should get all the bad press.

According to the papers she's already making plans re maintenance/future earnings etc. Maybe it wasn't unplanned?

poppy34 · 02/08/2009 11:22

Whilst i agree he should know better she is not exactly without responsibility - it takes two. And in all honesty fact he is allegedly wary and upset about news - well that is probably not unlike way most people would react if presented with this news.

And he is someone who does nothing for me either - in fact seems a bit wooden sometimes ( what was that thing with Cameron Diaz where he was supposed to be cute lone dad)?

mayorquimby · 02/08/2009 11:32

didn't he come straight out and say he'd look after his responsibilities to the kid?

i remember someone posting a thread having a go about urilka johnson having loads of kids by different people and people came rushing out in her defence.

expatinscotland · 02/08/2009 11:38

He's vile. I've always thoguht that. But anyone who'd screw him with no condom is equally skanky, IMO, because he looks like a walking disease.

And all that bullshit about her being 'only' 24. Yah, right. Old enough to know better.

skidoodle · 02/08/2009 11:44

He hasn't gone down in my estimation due to this news, but there isn't much further for him to fall unless he becomes a mass murderer or leader of a repressive regime.

pagwatch · 02/08/2009 12:06

Actually. He was very good in Road To Perdition - but he had a great cast to help and he didn't say much, just looked creepy and sinister. But he did it very well.

Nancy66 · 02/08/2009 12:13

I can't believe the girl in question is only 24 - she looks 10 years older.

i recall when he cheated with the nanny and he didn't use condoms there either.

He's a multi millionaire celebrity if he's to dense to use protection or to release the consequences then I don't have much sympathy.

Mayorguimby - he didn't exactly come straight out and offer to take responsibility. He demanded a DNA test firs - fair enough and only offered to do his bit when it became apparent the girl was negotiating to sell her story.

KiwiPanda · 02/08/2009 12:15

Ah Jude "Celebrity Dave" Law. Marvellous.

(For source of this and most amusing anecdotes see here

Ponders · 02/08/2009 12:18

Jude Law, for example, is a twat

expatinscotland · 02/08/2009 12:24

it came out during his divorce that he screwed a lapdancer whilst Sadie was home with PND and got her pregnant, too, only she had a termination.

he's skankatastic.

SobriquetDuJour · 02/08/2009 12:28

Used to quite like him but his sleazoid activities turned me off

Then I found out he's actually quite short and that sealed it

mayorquimby · 02/08/2009 12:29

well as you say demanding a dna test is completely his right if he has doubts about the paternity, and then he has come out and said he'll look after the kid.
just don't see why it makes him a pig?
it's an accidental pregnancy which he's going to take responsibility for, don't see the big deal.
if you're going to slate him then why not slate the mother as well, who as you say was going to run to the tabloids?hardly great behaviour and if you are going to judge him then why not her?
i don't see why an accidental pregnancy is a reason to start judging either of them.

MamaLazarou · 02/08/2009 12:29

He is a complete cock-end, but accidents like this happen every day.

Janos · 02/08/2009 12:54

Jude Law is a slezebag extraordinaire.

It's not exactly a one off is it? He has form for this sort of thing.

Janos · 02/08/2009 12:55

Of course I mean SLEAZEBAG.

He is very good looking but his attitude and behaviour are very off putting.
