to wonder why another MNer would randomly send me a CAT message asking me to indulge in slagging off other threads?

Never heard of this MNer before (but then I have only been around here for a year and regularly posting for about 6 months). Claims to be posting under a new name but was previously someone else on here - whose name I have seen on threads - and asks me to indulge in some slagging off of threads. Ignored message and then find myself being referred to as "poncetastic" on a thread I posted. Can accept the accusation....probably am a bit poncetastic at times....but all seems very strange "coincidence".

AIBU to wonder question posted in title of thread?

AIBU to think this is pathetic behaviour?

AIBU to think that this kind of trolling etc happens all too often on MN?

(am trying to steer clear of starting a thread about a thread issues here ).

I must admit I've not had the ones with the split

I wouldn't trust myself to aim TBH, and you don't want to stagger home dripping with your own urine, do you?

Fimbo · 23/07/2009 17:25

Ach you can go slag me for all I care, I have a per una LONG skirt in denim, thankfully with no adornments or swishy pieces of material on it.

Ooh and I have a black wool pea coat with a zebra print lining.

Shoot me now

I have 2 very nice white shirts - the only time I have ever got 2 things exactly the same because they were so perfect (in 2002).
Also a purple shirt I wore to the interview for my current job (in 2001).
Alas, how far they have fallen in 8 years!

mollyroger · 23/07/2009 17:29

Getorf - sheesh! Do you think people hide true aspects of themselves on the internet??

You'll be telling me morningpaper is actually the Evening Standard next...

Fimbo · 23/07/2009 17:29

LOL Fio, it is probably the same one. It starts straight and then is kind of flared at the bottom

Dripping in my own urine does not sound pleasant, no.
Maybe just normal big knickers then. If I wasn't wearing peeptoe shoes I could have gone for those M&S shape sucker tights thingies instead.

Mind you, my beautiful but leathal 5inch high KG red shoes may also mean an accident is likely.

morningpaper · 23/07/2009 17:41

yes - peeptoe shoes GOOD

peeptoe pants... not really so good

Fimbo · 23/07/2009 17:41

I have never had a skirt buddy before!

Never in a million years would you have thought this thread would end up with that startling revelation.

Please be kind and slag us to our faces

daftpunk · 23/07/2009 17:41

op; ....bad move to start this thread....off board convos stay off board....whatever they're about..

CurryMaid · 23/07/2009 17:46

Fio and Fimbo I've always got you confused anyway, and now it turns out you have the same skirt. Are you sure you are not one and the same?

Fimbo · 23/07/2009 17:46

Nah, Fio is far witter than me.

NoReturnsPlease · 23/07/2009 17:47

Long thread now

have we seen the original CAT message yet or have I missed it?

myredcardigan · 23/07/2009 17:51

I've just read DP's post and thought, 'what are you on about!' then realised she was actually talking about the original thread topic.

Just talked to DH on phone and mentioned I might wear knickers with a slit in them to the ball. I could tell he was a bit giddy flustered. Poor love will be disappointed when his fantasised about black crotchless diamante g-strings turn out to be enormous stretchy black granny knickers!

daftpunk · 23/07/2009 18:03

lol myredcardigan...i only read 1st 2/3 pages of this.... see you're talking sex now....sorry to have interrupted..

No, not sex but big granny suck you in knickers with a slit to wee through!

Oh and matching denim M&S skirts (I think)

MamaHobgoblin · 23/07/2009 18:16

Am amused at new spirit of MN Glasnost expressed on this thread. It's like MP's expenses all over again...

MamaHobgoblin · 23/07/2009 18:17

that's them at Westminster, not, ah, MP.

slyandgobbo · 23/07/2009 19:35

not enough punctuation there, myredcardigan, read that all wrong the first time.
Thsi has been reminding me of something and just realised it's Cruel Intentions - that sort of American teen Dangerous Liaisons with Buffy in it.
