to wonder why another MNer would randomly send me a CAT message asking me to indulge in slagging off other threads?

Never heard of this MNer before (but then I have only been around here for a year and regularly posting for about 6 months). Claims to be posting under a new name but was previously someone else on here - whose name I have seen on threads - and asks me to indulge in some slagging off of threads. Ignored message and then find myself being referred to as "poncetastic" on a thread I posted. Can accept the accusation....probably am a bit poncetastic at times....but all seems very strange "coincidence".

AIBU to wonder question posted in title of thread?

AIBU to think this is pathetic behaviour?

AIBU to think that this kind of trolling etc happens all too often on MN?

(am trying to steer clear of starting a thread about a thread issues here ).

Where has the 'slagging off' bit jumped in, someone asked did no one talk about threads off MN.

Does talking = slagging off now

Did i morph back into a teenager?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/07/2009 13:45

kathy - i agree, i used to really like it, it has just gone downhill recently.

CurryMaid · 23/07/2009 13:45

.

slyandgobbo · 23/07/2009 13:45

DS's piano teacher was wearing a per una cardy the other day. The scales fell from my eyes.

CybilLiberty · 23/07/2009 13:45

lol at kathy manfully carrying on the discussion about per una

KingRolo · 23/07/2009 13:46

I bought a Per Una jacket once too. And it did have flower made of cord stuck to it. And I was only 27.

IdrisTheDragon · 23/07/2009 13:46

Crocs? Really?

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/07/2009 13:46

Tamarto, yes I have a playpen cage here, but sadly she now asks to come out please, whereas before she would stay in there playing happily while I carried out my important business (on mumsnet)

"well you lot didnt know that peruna is the only style for me because i have four arms" or somesuch

ROFL
So true

I have bitched about a thread off MN
I have bitched about a MNER off line

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/07/2009 13:47

Kingrolo - oops, so I have stuck my big foot in it I'm sure it was lovely and very "tasteful with just a hint of playful fun"

KingRolo · 23/07/2009 13:47

"Per Una was actually very nice for a season or two after it was introduced."

yes, that's when i bought my jacket!

TutTutter · 23/07/2009 13:47

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 23/07/2009 13:47

Kingrolo - you just saved your street cred then

TheFallenMadonna · 23/07/2009 13:48

I'm not in any contact with anyone from MN

For slagging purposes or otherwise.

And with your waving a metaphorical list of off-board bitches (?!) - you're starting to sound a bit - odd...

noddyholder · 23/07/2009 13:50

God this is hilarious I am holed up in a tiny room as painters blocking all rooms with ladders and so am reading this like a mag and its almost as good as heat!Well apart from Torso of teh week!

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/07/2009 13:50

you two have to meet up wearing your matching Per Una (from the tasteful era) jackets!!

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/07/2009 13:50

Torso of the week is always "body from Baywatch, face from Crimewatch", I think

Tamarto · 23/07/2009 13:51

Fanjo - It does become difficult when they can talk and make you feel guilty and stuff.

At least she asks nicely to cause destruction.

I have never bought anything from per una, but i do wear black boots and jeans, where does that leave me on the sliding scale of bitchyness style?

sherby · 23/07/2009 13:51

STANDING UP IN MANNER OF AA

I am sherby and I have also slagged off discussed a thread off board

It has been 13 days since I last gossiped
