the following categories?

Celebrity 'nice' MNer

Celebrity 'naughty' MNer

Visiting 1 problem poster

Secret journo poster

Short lived poster, 'visiting' from another site and feeling like a tourist abroad, enjoyed it while it lasts but happy to go back to the home comforts

Majority MNers, well everyone else really who fill in the gaps between the top 2 groups' discussions, without anyone really noticing

and now the returning 'Zombies'

This follows on from whomovedmychocolate's thread here and I thought I would throw it to the AIBU wolves

Was wondering if you were going to post this!!!

Vast majority poster here...

But you forgot to add: Long time lurker, knows all the MN sagas but hasn't had the courage to post yet...

expertinscunthorpe · 21/07/2009 19:33

You forgot the celebrity sycophants.

I don't want to be in the majority though

I want to be in my own special sideways show jumping category of ONE

SerendipitousHarlot · 21/07/2009 19:36

Oooh. I was probably 'short-lived poster' but actually I almost prefer it here, where I've defected to...

So what does that make me then?

TheBolter · 21/07/2009 19:36

Oooo, finally I know my place on MN...

I'm a gloriously unashamedly MAJORITY MNer.

MIAonline · 21/07/2009 19:37

Knew you would have a few ideas of your own, all ideas welcome

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 21/07/2009 19:38

not sure what you mean by returning Zombies but there are quite a few non celebrities who are just up for a fight.

totalmisfit · 21/07/2009 19:39

Majority MNer here too. it's nice to finally have a label.

AtheneNoctua · 21/07/2009 19:39

What is a celebrity MNer? Is this someone who is well know on MN or a celebrity who is under disguise on MN.

chegirl · 21/07/2009 19:41

I am a slighty scared but really wanting to be naughty MNer.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 21/07/2009 19:41

I am fairly lurkerish as don't post that much these days

(think 'celeb' in terms of well-known screen names rather than actual celebs?...)

MumtoCharlieandLola · 21/07/2009 19:42

Am I a celebrity MNetter, after all my children are on Cbeebies every night !!!

And one night you saw my arm ...............

MIAonline · 21/07/2009 19:43

Well, definitly MN celebrity status only.

I have heard that there are RL celebrities hiding, but they are probably too minority for their own category.

OP posts:
MIAonline · 21/07/2009 19:45

Geocentric, We should definitly add long term lurker

Are you speaking from previous experience?

OP posts:
LadyThompson · 21/07/2009 19:47

Please.

None of this 'celebrity' malarkey, it's just too too eating itself and hubris inciting.

AtheneNoctua · 21/07/2009 19:47

So how does one know what category she/he belongs in?

Geocentric · 21/07/2009 19:49

MIA, no, I only lurked for a bit. AIBU was too enticing. But have noticed lots of MNers saying "I'm new but I lurked for "

Geocentric · 21/07/2009 19:51

Athene, a forum I used to post in when pregnant had this yucky thing by the poster's name where you had a status name according to number of posts, ranging from newbie to diva!!

springlamb · 21/07/2009 19:52

Where do serial namechangers fit in?

I'm only asking for a friend.

Am i naughty or nice?

AtheneNoctua · 21/07/2009 20:00

Geocentric, that sounds like nannyjob. I think I'd leave MN if they labelled me a diva.

MitchyInge · 21/07/2009 20:01

you're naughtier than nevergoogledragonmargarine, lower in salt, fat and better for the old cholesterol

littlelamb · 21/07/2009 20:02

I would invite people to google dragonbutter and make their own judgement
