the following categories?

Celebrity 'nice' MNer

Celebrity 'naughty' MNer

Visiting 1 problem poster

Secret journo poster

Short lived poster, 'visiting' from another site and feeling like a tourist abroad, enjoyed it while it lasts but happy to go back to the home comforts

Majority MNers, well everyone else really who fill in the gaps between the top 2 groups' discussions, without anyone really noticing

and now the returning 'Zombies'

This follows on from whomovedmychocolate's thread here and I thought I would throw it to the AIBU wolves

I am none of the above..to me Mumsnet is like MumsEnders no matter how long I'm away ...the locals are almost always here causing trouble and/or getting their pants in a twist..unless they have flounced or got a job ...and just like any soap when I start getting pissed off I can do a slient flounce and no one even notices

Mumcentreplus · 23/07/2009 15:14

...perhaps I'm whats called a slient/stealth flouncer

MIAonline · 23/07/2009 17:00

ImmaculateContraception, I like the way you just had a lengthy conversation with yourself. So that's the way to get an answer.

I will leave it to you to decide who the Celebrity naughty MNers are, they will probably be slightly different to some people, depending on who had crossed their paths.

I hadn't thought of it as nasty, more blunt, and often with a totally contradictory view to everyone else. But yes, there are also the very cheeky who fit it in this category

Not sure about stealth flouncer, surely we would have to notice you to have a category

Er, Trillian, surely your USP is that you don't have kids/aren't ttc. I know you aren't the only one, but surely (one of)the best known.

Mumcentreplus · 23/07/2009 18:16

...tis true but everyone else has a category that fits and not everyone is noticed! ...

Mumcentreplus · 23/07/2009 18:18

I almost flounced!!

SoupDragon · 23/07/2009 18:19

don't forget the Dog-With-A-Bone MNers who won't let stuff lie.

TrillianslebAstra · 23/07/2009 19:00

Not having kids isn't very special, it's just a stage that everyone goes through at some point

I expect I'll get over it some day.

KiwiKat · 24/07/2009 13:48

I loved that whole Penguin thing. Kept me smiling for days.

claireybee · 24/07/2009 14:01

Not that special in RL, no, but still quite unusual on MN

I'd forgotten how funny the penguin thread was
