To really not like Cerrie and watsisface from Cbeebies......

I've given them a chance, really i have, but they make me wince. They are so false and wooden. Cerrie clearly sees it as a stepping stone, i saw her on the "one show" and she was pretty much the same, no personality behind the pretty face. As for the guy, he says everything with an insincere smile plastered across his face that makes me want to punch his lights out.

Even the simpering skye was better than this pair, at least her simpering was genuine!

I loved chris and pui and i want them back - please, if thats ok.

They're growing on me now, well, I can tolerate them. But they aren't as good as chris + pui and andy + sid.

imaynotbeperfectbutimokmummy · 27/06/2009 13:59

oh, i love andy and sid, in fact, i have a teeny weeny crush on sid.

OP posts:
HumphreyCobbler · 27/06/2009 14:00

Sid is the best

weblette · 27/06/2009 14:02

YANBU, they make me appreciate even Sarah Jane. The fake accents are particularly bad.

TheCrackFox · 27/06/2009 14:04

YANBU

Cerrie is much better than whotshisface. But that is not saying much.

paisleyleaf · 27/06/2009 14:08

You're right. They've had a big enough chance now.

browntrout · 27/06/2009 14:09

chris and pui new prog starts 6th july btw

MummyDragon · 27/06/2009 14:19

If it came to a choice between Sid and Andy I would be VERY hard-pushed to choose ... they are both sooooo lovely!

fruitstick · 27/06/2009 14:21

Why don't they understand it's the mum's that matter.

They understand this enough to ask Rupert Penry Jones to read us a bedtime story

fruitstick · 27/06/2009 14:21

sorry that should have been mums' opinion - not bad grammar!

thumbwitch · 27/06/2009 14:24

Andy and Sid rule! the other 2 are a nightmare: so wooden, they might as well be cardboard cutouts for all the extra animation they give

mind you, I wasn't that enamoured of Pui either.

thumbwitch · 27/06/2009 14:25

I forgot to say - I LOVE the presenters on Milkshake (Ch5) - why can't the Beeb employ more people like them? I just want Naomi and Kemi to come and live with me, they're so lovely and smiley!

imaynotbeperfectbutimokmummy · 27/06/2009 14:32

Mummydragon, its a simple choice for me because Andy looks like my DD1s boyfriend, so that would be very wrong!

OP posts:
pinklady5 · 27/06/2009 14:46

bring back chris & pui , my DD (3) has cbeebies on all day we all love charlie & lola

laumiere · 27/06/2009 20:04

I have to stick up for Alex, my DS (3) loves the fact he has a similar accent to daddy (South Wales).

cornsilk · 27/06/2009 20:07

Is this the pop shop woman? I saw it today for the first time and she was wiggling her tits whist dancing.

Heebychick · 27/06/2009 20:12

I think they are dead behind the eyes.

I've tried but ... nope we don't like them.

Mr Tumble is the best they have at the mo for genuine kids TV love! (oh and Sid & Andy)

fattybumbum · 27/06/2009 20:13

I love Sid. He has such a great smile and looks so genuinely happy all the time. Probably isn't but it's nice to watch.

I agree about Cerrie and the bloke. They just aren't that good at presenting. What happened to Pui and Chris anyway? I wondered if they'd been sacked.

EyeballsandherSunburntNorks · 27/06/2009 20:16

I love Mr Tumble and Something Special. It's my favourite programme and even I'm learning little bits of sign language. What a great idea.

All the presenters do my head on though.

puffling · 27/06/2009 20:18

They really are boring beyond belief (not that it's me that matters.) I love Sid and Andy. It's a relief when they return after Cerrie an Alex. Wasn't Chris and Pui's new show due to air in may? I've heard nothing of it. I agree that the Channel 5 presenters are better. I'd never have said that until Cerrie and Alex. Any Milkshake presenter would be more animated. BBC please take note.

puffling · 27/06/2009 20:20

That's a co-incidence. CBeebies homepage is advertising Chris and Pui's new programme, starting 6th July.

Frasersmum123 · 27/06/2009 20:21

YABU - I like Cerrie and Alex even though Alex has the wrinkliest forehead in the world!

cornsilk - You are thinking of Carrie - who is a little strange but looks fabby - she has lost a lot of weight from her Fame Academy days.

cornsilk · 27/06/2009 20:22

Ah! Don't remember her being chubby in Fame Academy though.

Frasersmum123 · 27/06/2009 20:25

She wasnt chubby, but if you compare how she is now and then there is a difference iyswim

BigusBumus · 27/06/2009 20:26

I have a HUUUUUUUUUUGE crush on Chris Corcoran, that welsh chap on Doodle-do.
