I've given them a chance, really i have, but they make me wince. They are so false and wooden. Cerrie clearly sees it as a stepping stone, i saw her on the "one show" and she was pretty much the same, no personality behind the pretty face. As for the guy, he says everything with an insincere smile plastered across his face that makes me want to punch his lights out.

Even the simpering skye was better than this pair, at least her simpering was genuine!

I loved chris and pui and i want them back - please, if thats ok.

"The oven is hot! Hot! HOT!" in increasingly high/camp voice

Fruitbeard · 28/06/2009 21:37

(love your nickname, btw)

I idnt realise Big Cok and Little Cook are a comedy duo too! If you go to a comedy gig and they are the comedians, how the heck do you take them seriously?

here

Why thank you!

Any particular fruit for the beard (or is it a character from a book wot I have not read)? I am picturing an upside-down Carmen Miranda.

Big COK and little Cook Frasier's Mum?

What sort of parties do you go to?!?!?

Frasersmum123 · 28/06/2009 22:02

I love Big Cook Ben (have a very secret crush on him), so it must have been my subconcious typing

MrsKitty · 28/06/2009 22:12

I (and DS ) miss Chris & Pui too! Especially Chris for all his songs - Loved the teeth-brushing song where they were dressed up as a toothbrush and toothpaste tube and the "If you're feeling rather sleepy" song with all the animals. The bedtime song is just not the same without him - Cerrie & Alex can't even sing!

Doodle do man is fabulous -he's so dry and not at all patronising which makes a lovely change - would be great if he agreed to do some more episodes.

Frasersmum123 · 28/06/2009 22:20

The one thing I dont understand is the Deal or No Deal sketch thingy - why would preschool children understand it? They do an Antiques Roadshow one too which is equally as puzzling.

beardydad · 29/06/2009 08:51

The highlight of my day is when Cerrie turns round looking all excited and sings "Hello moon"
Ah yes, the Milkshake presenters... (strokes beard)
I like Sid and Andy. The Autumn song was my favourite 'when the lights come on out-side-the-shops.'

JudyBlume1019 · 29/06/2009 08:58

YANBU! They are awful, they have no sense of humour, and are bored and BORING and clearly have no chemistry between them whatsoever! I too have given them plently of time and a proper chance. I really really wanted to like them.

PuppyMonkey · 29/06/2009 09:06

I agree they are both shit.

But in their defence, DD2 (aged two) is OBSESSED with them. "Where's CerrAlex?" is all I get morning, noon and night. They must be hypnotising her in some weird TV way. Evil pair.

puffling · 25/07/2009 23:41

I thought Cerrie looked slightly pregnant the other day. I need to get a life i know, but I found myself hoping she was. Still don't think Cerrie and Alex are any good. But we're stuck with them.
