i know i'm not being unreasonable.

a woman on that lottery 1-100 show on sat night referred to herself as a 'full time mum'

i take it she meant sahm instead.

i have no bones with anyone's choice as to what the do, sahm of wohm.

but... i was so annoyed i felt she was referring to wohm as - part timers??

does she forget that we do the same stuff as well as a full week at work!!

i was with my mother when we watched the show, and she has 4 dc who have left home, and says she is still a full time mum regardless.

ok rant over.

Doing it is harder work though.

Paying someone else to do it is the way to go

I'm a full time mum, a teacher, a full time housework-avoider and I'm not Johnny Depp's bit on the side! (Though living in hope!)

No no no - it's NOT a job, it's a labour of love so you can't be made redundant!

(If it is a job then where's the salary, the pension and the chance for voluntary redundancy?)

Today I'm a full time slacker. My girl and me are having a pyjama day. I don't intend to go outside, even though the sky is blue and air is fresh (I know this as I've just opened it to the postman, who was clearly shocked at my dressing gown and pjs combo).

Tomorrow I intend to be a full time shopper and part time wedding attendee.

I think I like this adoptatitle thing. Wonder what I can be on Saturday???

Swap the Pimms for a nice malt whiskey and you may have cracked it for me lockets.

Sunday I'm planning on being a part time ironer, part time child bather. Or should that be mum? Or would that just start problems again??

violethill · 28/05/2009 12:01

Weather is set to be good all weekend so I'm off to the country to sit in my garden drinking pimms and reading.... bliss! Tis a full time job you know!

violethill · 28/05/2009 12:02
