active convos are whizzing ppast so quickly I am missing if someone comes on a thread I have started/replied on until ages after, and then I fear people think I am being rude if I don;t reply/respond.

MN is fab, really it is, but when I come here for some light relief/downtime/soothing-like-minded-chat, I want to feel as tho I am contributing to it, or even > being acknowledged as a decent member.

It was dead easy EachPeach! I've never done it before either...500g strawberries, 300ml double cream, 100g caster sugar, juice of a lemon.

I just thought I'd try & see if I could hide more than one thread by holding down Ctrl & clicking on a few random threads.

It doesn't work, it only hid the first one - which ironically was this one, so I had to go and retrieve it so I could post....

(Actually I've had to do that quite a lot recently, MNing on my iPhone early in the morning when I can't be arsed to get up & find my glasses - it's too easy to touch 'hide' instead of the thread name in Active convos.)
