To think some usernames on here are overly crude?

I've seen some really crude names on here lately.
"AnyFucker" "BodybagMaggots" "sweatyarsecrack" etc

I can't believe that these are women that have chosen these names.

Am I the only one that thinks there is really no need to be so crude?

No, I don't get offended. After reading that thread a while back about neighbours shagging in their hot tub, I'm amazed noone swooped on FesteringChlamydiaSoup as eloquently described by the very funny OP of that thread. Go on someone, you know you're tempted.

I got caught up in this until i realized it was a Zombie thread revived - I thought all the old ones were back and could not believe I was seeing so many old friends again....

It is funny even now, as my then baby four year old DS is now a sniggering 12 year old that giggles at any innuendo - it's like I am living in a bad sitcom at times. He would love some of those names!

Ok - I have not RTFT so am happy to be flamed.

But some user names that are crude came about a long time ago.

From memory AnyFucker's name came from when they had another name.

Another poster started a thread/post I can't remember asking for MN pals to respond with the message "Is any fucker there?"

AF then changed User name and said "yes, me".

It then stuck.

Frankly if you are offended by it you belong on NetMums Hun

I think the sweary names are vile. I cringe when I read them. But they are commonplace on MN, it reminds me of little kids tryna shock their parents pathetic really.

You don't have to use unnecessarily debased language to come on MN. Its not funny or clever to use offensive language. Some adults still find farting funny, but most adults grow out of it .
