to be suspicious of DH mobile ALWAYS being on silent mode?

He has it on silent at work, god knows why as he is the boss of the company and receives work calls all the time. But then when we are at home he has it on silent all the time and the phone is always in his pocket - like all the time, he never takes it out. When he is out without me it takes ages for him to answer a call from me, because its on silent. And I keep telling him to put it on normal when he's out as I can't get hold of him in an emergency.

He never used to do this, its only in the last 18 months.

I've wondered about an affair, but can't actually think when he would be doing it, unless he is lying about being with our mutal friends or in his lunch break?

if you were to misplace your phone and picked his up as it was handy to phone yours to find it, what would he do? If he is fine with it then he probably isnt having an affair, if he freaks out ask him why.

i usually keep mine on silent but vibrate(cant have it go off when working) unless an urgent call expected

Me and my DP always have our phones on silent, if anythings that important we can be reached on the landline.
They can be annoying, especially if you just want to relax.
It can also be embarassing or inappropriate if it goes off at the wrong time ie in a meeting etc.

Mines always on silent, and I very often don't take it when I go out of the house.

To those who ask what the purpose of having a phone is -
It is for my convenience. If someone wants me, phone the house - better quality, and I really don't like to talk when I am walking down the street/picking up the kids/doing my shopping.

When I am out, I am OUT!!!!

Mine is always on silent for work, and never switched back on to loud.
Although it is on vibrate and the school can get in contact with me at any time.

My phone is always on silent - indeed it is an unwritten rule in our office - the rings interrupt calls or meetings and disturb other people.

my phone is always silent too. ringtones annoy me. it vibrates and i check it every so often. if this is solely based on the phone i'd say relax.
