Or have I had a sense of humouyr bypass and I seriously need to rediscover it? I know that bf an older baby is unusual but he's not fed that often. He usually says it when I give him his morning feed but it can be at any time. I just don't find it funny at all and I'm getting more and more irritated grrr!!

...and so it all starts again.........

I'm with lotster. I don't think it's meant to be offensive to BF'ing mothers.

I'm aware of a bf peer supporter who refers to it as bitty brigade...

Actually, that's a great idea. Reclaim the word as our own. It's been done before....Bitty Brigrade. Brilliant.

Then perhaps we could tell them to shove off, all those judgy but ignorant types and find someone else to run down.

YANBU at all. thankfully my family all bf'd as did dp's mum, so no comments here. I hate Little Britain. the problem with the bitty sketch is it's meant to take the piss out of grown men still tied to mummy's apron strings so they create the most extreme scenario possible - bf at 35. BUT it also then gives impression that bf is gross, weird etc. ah well, they're idiots.
