to be unbelievably annoyed by this twatting report??? May be upsetting!

I have been doing some reading up on the James Bulger case recently for a project we have been doing.

It's such a horrid case my heart really does go out to his family and friends.

But whilst trawling the many many stories and articles about it, I have found one that seems to be all in the anuimals who killed hims favour. It seems to be a case of well they were abused so yes thats what abused children do.

NO IT'S NOT! I worked with abused children for a while and never once have I heard any child or anyone working alongside saying they knew a child who had done something anything like this.

That poor child was tortured and left like a piece of meat to be cut in half by a train at 2Years old, but thats okayt becaus ethe killers were abused, I don't think so.

I do apologise if I am offending anyone by saying this but they lost the right to breath the day they did this perhaps they should have been put in a cell with a big tough cell mate see how they like being tortured, terrified and abused by someone who should know better.

ARGH am so sorry but had to vent.

I think they should have got shot of them and the people who abused them in the first palce. I have a lot of sympathy for abused children even these 2... if I'd have found out before this happened. I think as soon as they did that they shouldve been left to the famillies devices as I do with any other peadophile or murderer.

And the scum that abused them in the first place now get to move on ahppily with new names too.. lot of bull they shouldve been locked u too.

Of course there have been cases where parole officers have been duped by very cunning predatory adults.

But i can assure you that in a case like this there would have been many many meetings about it.

There were discussions and meetings about what to do with teh boys years before they were due for parole.
if there was any reason for them to be kept inside prison i can assure you the authorities would have taken it as at least that way teh public would have been apeased.

there can be no justice in a case like this.

But look into the eyes of a 10 year old and then imagine yourself telling him he shoudl kill himself, that he is an animal.
I couldn't do it, but a great many people shouted just that at the vans that carried them.

agree totally Solid.

I know that at least one of the boys (think it was JV) suffered horrific violance at home and he witnessed his mother being hit daily.

This was a child that grew up thinking violance was normal.he was simply devoid of caring becasue no one had bothered to teach him that he should.

He is not evil, but the adults that did that to him were.

that lies at the heart of all of this. and the mob baying at the vans. and the mob baying in the tabloids.

spot on whoever said that we are all capable of this of cruelty of genocide of violence. but 'evil' is much safer and easier to deal with if you can bottle it up and stick it somewhere else, in someone else and then hate it and want to kill it off. so put it on two ten year olds so that you can feel better. whatever gets you through the night.

HRH I think I could have.

But then again I'd have to use the term animal loosely because even an animal wouldnt do something that twisted for no reason.

Hearing the sound tapes of those boys being intreviewed actually made me want to physically hurt them and I am not a violent person but hearing them sob that they didn't kill the baby the other was a liar made me thuink atleast admit what you did for the sake of his family!

They were probably sobbing for themselves and not for what they'd done.

It's a contradiction to say they thought it was normal behaviour due to their abuse but then sob due to remorse. That would indicate they knew it was wrong which goes against the argument.

They knew what they done was darn evil otherwise they wouldnt have denied it and RT wouldnt ahve said he was frightened of being haunted by the baby.

Anyway pointless argument point is they are adults now and should be 'man' enough to deal with what they did and doing something useful with their lives.

Mamadiva - have you ever met a 10 year old?

it is quite rare that one that thinks they are in serious trouble would admit what they did. of course they try and pretend to be innocent.

How any adult could consider violance towards a 10 year old is beyond me.

Mamadiva - they are - the professionals around them whilst they were in custody were very pleased that they got actively involved in community projects and events - considering all that they have experienced they seem to have developed into very stable adults.

You have no idea how they live their lives now! I feel that one child died, which is appalling, but that two children were saved in a way. They had awful lives.

Unfortunately in this world there are many 10 year old boys and girls living in violent homes.

How many of them go out and perform such a premeditated, sick and henious series of assaults culminating in murder on a 2 year old child.

It's not an excuse or a reason.......

It is possible to know your in trouble ( the fact your being interviewed by police being a hint) but not understanding that what youhave done is wrong is perfectly reasonable.

Okay okay maybe that was a bit harsh but it did make me hate them more! The fact that they lied and then one of them jumps onto his mums knee an dsobs as said by transcripts. made me think you little shit you jump into your mums knee when you need her but what the hell did you do when that little boy was crying for his mumn....

Its thoughts like that that annoy me and make me think lock him up and let him scream!

So you'd be perfectly ahppy walking down the street with your son and stopping to atlk to them the I take it?

I wouldn't be bloody ahppy about it I would want to know.

My brother is 13 I know what its like to have a ten year old I did live with him!

And no my son is not 10 he is 2 and half so looking at him makes me think!
