please can we cut pregnant posters a bit of slack

Even if you know you're right and they're wrong. Even though it isn't an illness. Even though they're in the wrong thread and that entitles you to say whatever the hell you like.

i have clearly missed something.
but to be fair, sometimes first time pregnancy people do need a bit of a reality check.

And if someone posts something silly they can't use being preggers as a defense for not getting flamed

No-one should expect to be treated any differently to any other poster. Can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

Niceychops, in the thread you are referring to, the OP got the hump because we were meant to telepathically understand her complicated history and declare her NBU.

It wasn't anything to do with being pregnant, it was posting incomplete information, in the wrong place.

I am pregnant, feel like death warmed up, with two children under 3, but I didn't get "cut some slack".

I just know how emotional I was when I was pregnant and I think we should be a bit kinder to others in the same boat.

WWW, ok yes if they are drinking a pint of gin a night, but if it isn't important, maybe at least tell them in a non-confrontational way.

Yes Lou, she omitted some information and got upset, but she posted something pretty light-hearted and got called a silly bint, a fat biffer and told 'you may have been ill in your previous pregnancies but that means fuck all'

Yes she posted incomplete information but who cares? Can we not cut her some slack is all I'm saying.

Thank you - i do appreciate it.

For the record. I asked if I was BU? I had no problems with any one saying i was unreasonable - it was the harsh replies that made me cross. I made a mistake posting in AIBU as this is obviously a place for vemonous sorts to vent! And not for a bit os sympathy - although thanks lovley MNtters who gave thsi.

I'm all for being nice to each other, but I do feel like shouting TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOURSELF on occasion. If you might be upset by what people might say, then don't invite an opinion whether you're pregnant or not.

I thought Cod was a bit harsh. But I just thought, in the grand scheme of things, who cares.
Coming from woman who has just spent the last hour in bed, resting, post massage to help sore muscles after diabetic hypo, whilst 29 weeks pg.
