Even if you know you're right and they're wrong. Even though it isn't an illness. Even though they're in the wrong thread and that entitles you to say whatever the hell you like.

Just be more polite, you pack of wankers

3andnomore · 01/09/2008 15:58

well...I am generally not a rude poster anyway....doesn't stop me pissing other people off...but story of my life, either I am so boring that I get ignored or I piss people off....sigh....lol

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 01/09/2008 16:00

i think pregnancy affects every one differently it does awfull things to me. i hate being pg. absolutely hate it! i do not bloom, i never get this elusive burst of energy people go on about all the time, i am sick all the way through, my body aches every where, i get insomnia, migranes and i have no instinct to nest.

id happily sleep all the way through my pregancies if dh would allow me and i could actually get to sleep.

no its not an illness but it feels like it to me some people. so i agree we should cut some slack to posters moaning about thier pregnancy and how tired they are.

TheProvincialLady · 01/09/2008 16:04

I am pregnant and anyone who does not cut me some slack would get a hard kick in the fanjo if it weren't for the fact that I can't lift my lardy leg above 2" without yelping. Nature is a wonderful thing.

Niceychops · 01/09/2008 16:04

Shesells - I thought it was just me! Love motherhood, bloody hate pregnancy. 'oh you get a burst of energy in the second trimester and feel on top of the world!' Bah.

SheikYerbouti · 01/09/2008 16:10

I'm a lazy cow pregant or now

In fact, preganancy was great as it gave me carte blanche to lie on the sofa all day looking like a beached whale

highschoolmusical · 01/09/2008 16:11

SY - LOL

Dogsby · 01/09/2008 16:26

highschoolmusical · 01/09/2008 16:28

Dogsby (or cod?)

I did'nt ask if I was lazy - I know I'm not. I was asking if was bu to leave DH with 2 kids and diy while I satyed in bed for most of the day???

Dogsby · 01/09/2008 16:31

adn i said yes
you were

then threw the old" i haev had 4 miscrraiges in"

so IMO( obv and it ISonly an opinion) it was a pointless thread to start
hwo the fuck do we knwo that

Niceychops · 01/09/2008 16:31

But Cod you apologised so nicely on the other thread! I thought you were really lovely.

{{{{{{{hugs}}}}} to you.

OP posts:
highschoolmusical · 01/09/2008 16:34

Cod,

I never said that I had 4 miscarriages. i have lost 4 babies. And while you're here I am not a silly bint but from reading your posts you most certainly ARE.

Niceychops · 01/09/2008 16:36

HSM, it isn't worth it, it really isn't.

But I'm sorry to hear of your history.

You don't need to justify yourself.

OP posts:
StellaDallas · 01/09/2008 16:39

I thought a lot of people on that thread were really harsh and unpleasant. Sure, pregnancy is not an illness, but I certainly suffered from debilitating exhaustion during large parts of my three 'normal' pregnancies, and grabbed every chance I could to lie down, quite frankly. Why the feck not? I didn't realise it was supermumsnet we were running here. Next time I come on here, I'll wear my pants over my tights.

Niceychops · 01/09/2008 16:40

Stella I agree, I just thought a lot of it was really harsh and unpleasant. And unnecessary.

OP posts:
Dogsby · 01/09/2008 16:41

OS DONT START A N AIBU thread!

epoepl may well disagree wiht oyu

Niceychops · 01/09/2008 16:42

Cod, people are entitled to disagree. Just not to be that rude about it!

OP posts:
Dogsby · 01/09/2008 16:42

prob yes ok

SheikYerbouti · 01/09/2008 16:54

DOES ANYONE HAVE A NUMBER FOR BODEN?

highschoolmusical · 01/09/2008 16:55

Might start another AIBU thread - my DH has finished work and is shock, horror cooking dinner while I sit in bed on mumsnet. And even worse - I actually feel ok today.

Oblomov · 01/09/2008 17:01

I am not lazy. But I am oblomov by name, oblomov by nature. My name is apt. I am .... is slovenly the right word. Not quite.
Pregnancy suits me fine. I use it as an excuse to be a more tuned version of the real me.
Actually i have been dog sick this pg. If I get off my lardy arse at least once a day it is an achievement.

LOL at Provincial lday kicking someone, only if she was able. Ha ha.

Oblomov · 01/09/2008 17:07

Sorry. Had to rush off to be violently sick , for the third time today. Never had MS with ds, so this ms is a bit of a shock. What have I missed ?

Amethyst86 · 01/09/2008 18:07

Can someone explain the name and shame guidelines please? IME when you name and shame on here you are utterly flamed and shamed yourself by loads of worthy types, especially when the one named is one of the "In Crowd".

OP YANBU. Pregnancy is a Get Out of Jail Free Card.

highschoolmusical · 01/09/2008 18:18

Amethyst,

Thanks. TBH - am so glad posted OP as it has clarified my thoughts. Those who are negative and think pregnant ladies should be working from dusk till dawn and then some just don't have a fabulous DH like me and are

Am now past caring what negative posters think - am just enjoying myself and my pregnancy.
