I have been posting on here for a year or so on and off, but I have never really felt welcome.

No one ever responds to what I write, in fact I have sometimes felt actively ignored.

Now obviously that could be cos I write a load of crap that interests no one

Or it could be that very early on, before I realised how careful you had to be, I had an argument with someone who, it turned out, was a mumsnet superstar.

Am I being paranoid, or do people get unofficialy blacklisted!!

btw have changed my name for this.

Night VT

I heart your name

HumpheryCushion · 21/08/2008 23:00

WW - I deregistered, but have no will power.

BoysAreLikeDogs · 21/08/2008 23:02

lol at Humph's willpower

WendyWeber · 21/08/2008 23:02

Ohhhhhhh - I think about doing that sometimes but I have no willpower either so just stay put.

Did you have to re-register from a new PC though???

HumpheryCushion · 21/08/2008 23:23

No, I just had to register using DH's email address instead of mine.

He loves the weekly round up.

I am repenting at leisure, and mourning the loss of HumphreyCushion.

zippitippitoes · 21/08/2008 23:25

will they not gived you your name back if you ask sweetly

they did for me when i deregistered

but maybe they dont any more

pointydog · 21/08/2008 23:32

if it's a private club, where's me fat cigar

HumpheryCushion · 21/08/2008 23:33

Ooh, really Zippi?
I assumed I would just have to suck it up (whilst posting endlessly about my gloom, obviously! )
I will don my grovelling trousers, and email MNHQ tomorrow.

thumbwitch · 21/08/2008 23:35

Defo paranoid - there are a few posters who seem to ignore each other and a few posters who seem to get on each others' nerves for a short while and then it all seems to settle down again - but the vast majority of posts aren't directly answered.

You only want to worry if EVERY thread you post on dies instantly!

pointydog · 21/08/2008 23:38

Everyone's too bothered about themselves to directly answer threads. It's not that different to real life, you know

HumpheryCushion · 21/08/2008 23:39
pointydog · 21/08/2008 23:44

ahh, thankee

S1ur · 22/08/2008 00:05

Huh

Well some of us could get hurt at not being namechecked good night.

But I'm a professional so instead I'll just and hold a grudge.

Tortington · 22/08/2008 12:33

aye professional arse kisser slur...p

narkymum · 22/08/2008 12:40

Have you replyed to a really busy thread, only to find no-one ever replys again?
I am fab at that, should change my name to narkynomates.

Pan · 22/08/2008 12:40

And I can't stand it when some female posters go all virtual fluttering of the eyelashes and shaking down of the hair thing whenever certain male posters pop up on threads. It's demeaning and very annoying to everyone else.

and VVVQV prob. DID mean it.

narkymum · 22/08/2008 12:40

see?

Pan · 22/08/2008 12:46

Humph - Pan was returned to me without a quibble. I think on the basis that no-one in their right mind would want it. So that ruled everyone round here out......

ask them. They don't bite. Just nibble a bit.

QuintessentialShadows · 22/08/2008 12:54

Pan. Do you get that a lot? Flirting I mean.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 22/08/2008 12:56

I've got loads of mumsnet friends.

The only reason they respond to my posts is because we've all had sex at meet ups.

I've just broken the rule, sorry everyone.

hat happens at meet ups stays at meet ups.

Pan · 22/08/2008 13:02

nah QS - it's amusing when cod and a couple of others complain about it though, when I've never noticed it. Must be about some other urbane handsome hunk of a man. Kind of thing.

VinegarTits · 22/08/2008 13:07
scottishmummy · 22/08/2008 13:12
