Absolutely. Perhaps some Angel Delight after for calcium?

Whizzz · 25/07/2008 12:28

only if you put 4 peas in the eyes of the smiley faces

MehgaLegs · 25/07/2008 12:28

Yes, but not every day. Salt probably high in FF and smiley faces.

davidtennantsmistress · 25/07/2008 12:28

I think so, for an ifits diner.

Whizzz · 25/07/2008 12:28

don't know why I added the number 4 to that post??

BouncingTurtle · 25/07/2008 12:29

Only if it is washed down with a Fruit Shoot.

itati · 25/07/2008 12:30

Nothing wrong with fish fingers and peas but I wouldn't say it was the best meal with smiley faces crap.

milknosugar · 25/07/2008 12:31

yes to nice fish fingers and peas (although my kids would disagree with the peas), def no to smiley faces, masees and masses of salt. waffles better. or were when i bothered to check many moons ago

Acinonyx · 25/07/2008 12:31

What's a smiley face?

FF & peas is a favourite with dd.

Mercy · 25/07/2008 12:32

Don't know what smiley faces are but the rest sounds fine

MegBusset · 25/07/2008 12:32

DS loves fish fingers and peas. But so far refuses to be interested in any potato product, smiley or otherwise...

fedupandisolated · 25/07/2008 12:32

Protein, carbs, one of the 5 a day.
Probably quite high in salt tho.

As long as it isn't everyday what's the problem? (Ditto Fruit Shoot - mind you having tasted one I can tell you they are quite disgusting).

2point4kids · 25/07/2008 12:33

FF, peas and mash better

misdee · 25/07/2008 12:34

we have fishfingers, peas and jacket potatoes.

May2December · 25/07/2008 12:36

And does one pea constitute one of your five a day?

zippitippitoes · 25/07/2008 12:37

tis a nice balance fish fingers and peas ok smiley faces crap

May2December · 25/07/2008 12:37

0.7g of salt per serving (smiley faces) is that a lot?

mamadiva · 25/07/2008 12:38

Oh no I must be an awful parent! My DS eats fish fingers, peas and smiles or waffles maybe once a week for a quicky dinner! And he drinks Fruit shoots when am out If I run out of juice. I don't see the problem with it TBH not like it's all the time.

zippitippitoes · 25/07/2008 12:39

i used to use aplhabets and waffles quite a lot with baked beans and fish fingers

not for everyday but once a week fine

mosschops30 · 25/07/2008 12:40

tbh Im just glad when ds eats never mind whether its healthly or balanced. He had frozen pizza for dinner!!

tortoiseSHELL · 25/07/2008 12:40

My children have fishfingers, peas and either rice or peas twice a week. Because ds1 will eat it.

tortoiseSHELL · 25/07/2008 12:41

Rice or PASTA. Not peas. PASTA.

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 25/07/2008 12:41

fish fingers, peas and mash potato - yum

frisbyrat · 25/07/2008 12:42

Alphabites much better than smiley faces. educashunal, innit?

ExterminAitch · 25/07/2008 12:42

fish fingers are fine for salt as i recall, no art colourings in the birds eye ones. frozen peas a must. smiley faces are just wrong, imo, and not food. esp when a pot can be baked in the micro if convenience is the main thing.
