Shocked that no one helped the girl on the train

14 year old SA in trained

I am being unreasonable in think people need to stop being so absorbed on their phones whilst out in public. It seems no one helpped this child whilst she was being raped because they were too busy on their phones.

Autistic girl, 14, 'sexually assaulted on train by Afghan migrants'

Baryalai Rahimi, 25, and Mirebadurahman Sadat, 29, are said to have spotted the runaway teenager at a station in rural Kent before following her onto the London-bound train on February 5.

Did he come across on a dingy?

So make up your mind, one minute it's every immigrant, the next it's not.

And fact-checkers have said that raw percentage comparisons can be skewed if population baselines (like older survey data versus census figures) are miscalculated, and that demographic factors—such as a higher proportion of young males in certain migrant or refugee groups—influence these rates.

So the data is unreliable.

"that demographic factors—such as a higher proportion of young males in certain migrant or refugee groups—influence these rates."

That just means that young men are more likely to commit rape and murder than women or even older men.

Which is definitely not an argument for continuing to bring young, unvetted men into the country.

But it means you're not comparing like for like, therefore the data is unreliable and meaningless.

Some of the loveliest men I’ve ever met are Muslim men and it’s shocking that we’ve got to a stage where people openly say that ALL Muslim men are bad.

We have Muslim men who work with the victims and perpetrators of sexual abuse and domestic violence and I can tell you for a fact that they see women as their equal.

I am an atheist but I would never judge someone purely on their religion.

You sure judge people you disagree with as drunks though? Shocking behaviour.

CakeAndEats · Yesterday 21:04

Would you rather your DD come across a 20 Afghan man or a 20 year old Dutch man late at night on the streets. I think the results would be very different.

IsEveryUserNameBloodyTaken · Yesterday 21:05

OneHazelBird · Yesterday 20:38

I can also supply it.

I am a victim myself, as well as many of my friends.

I now work with victims and perpetrators.

In mine and my colleagues experiences around the country, it is not immigrants that are the problem.

I wish it was because then that would be a simple solution but unfortunately it’s not.

So because it isn’t affecting you you are trying to shout it down.

So one of them sat her on his knee on the train and touched her and nobody said a thing?

Train seats are separated into sets of four usually so unlikely anyone actually saw and if she wasnt objecting how would they know she wasnt participating of her own free will.

What a bizarre choice.

There is nothing about a Dutch man that would him more trustworthy to me.

They don't exactly view them as equal

Neither do white male Christian’s.
There’s a pretty substantial set of Christians in the US who want a ‘family vote’ which just means removing the vote from women. They typically hold the view that men are the head, men make the rules for their family, women need to submit to men.
The same is true for some white Christian men in the UK, and Mormon men, and Orthodox Jews.

Swedish data does compare like for like and controls for age and gender. It drill shows elevated rates.

Are you ok?

I’ve never described anyone as drunk, whether I disagree with them or not 😐

True

Of course all muslim meant arent sexual aggressors. But afghanistan will inculcate very different attitudes in men towards women than the uk. A man recently arrived from Afghanistan is likely to view a young girl in a mini skirt or low cut top differently from the average european man.

How am I trying to shut it down?

And it does affect me, this is literally my job and I have daughters, sisters, nieces, friends etc - any form of male to female violence affects all of us.

Do you think it's the government's fault when white British men rape kids, too?

Because that happens a great deal more often than kids being raped by refugees. There will be hundreds more sex crimes committed by white British men than by Afghan refugees.

The Daily Mail wouldn't even bother reporting this case if the defendants were British, and if they did, they'd totally be blaming the victim. They only give a shit about women and girls when it gives them a chance to stir up racist reactions.

Do you think it's the government's fault when white British men rape kids, too?

Stands to reason that we have enough of our own rapists to deal with, without letting more in.

So what work have you done to campaign against the ECHR then?

I disagree with them then. I think women have things better under Christianity than under islam.

I did not dismiss it at all.

Please don’t lie as I can’t stand liars.

She’s not lying and yes it does come across as you dismissing it otherwise you wouldn’t need to be claiming about your experience.

I'm not sure why we are focusing on the passengers and not the rapists.

Because it’s the daily fail. They think they are superior to others and make out that everyone else is shit!

Afghans are seven times more likely to be convicted of sex crimes than Britons, analysis suggests.

The research showed that people who described themselves as Afghans accounted for 409 sex offences – or 0.39 per cent of the total – during a 15-year period.

The analysis by The Economist focused on the three years from 2020 to 2022, the most recent for which data were available.

it might look a bit odd, depending on how old everyone looked but I think it's unreasonable to expect people to interrogate every "couple" together in case it isn't consensual.
the going into the loo together, obviously suss but that's possibly the only thing anyone might have noticed.

she said herself, she didn't (know how to and was too s Ares to( say no. she sat on his lap. she didn't (cos she was too scared to) resist or draw attention to it.

the people at blame here are the two men, and whoever is in this poor girl's life / past that taught her saying no would get her hurt.
