I think the whole point of his hypothetical question about violence and killing is to try and prove that women are just as bad as men. And he must be delighted by the posters on his thread who are falling over themselves to say they would murder multiple people without any moral qualms at all.

Certainly as a general rule I assume pp on MN are women unless they explicitly state otherwise - as OP has done on at least one thread I've seen him on.

So when pp come on to a thread expressing views that are generally from a male orientated view point - justifying male behaviour - the effect is to give the appearance that women are also on board with that behaviour. And because of the anonymity of the site it is often difficult to tell whether these are indeed women or men trying to create the illusion they are women.
We have no.way of knowing if the pp on this thread who would happily commit murder are men or women.

To save my children? Without question. Even if I had to see it happen, it's not even a choice. I'd probably do it for the dogs too if I'm quite honest.

Those of you who are saying that you would kill 10,000 to save your children... would you be comfortable with your dc knowing what you had done?

I would be horrified if I thought one of my parents had killed so many innocent people to save me, and I think I would lose all respect for them.

I wonder if the answer depends somewhat on the age of your children and whether you can imagine them judging you for the decision!

I would do it to save my children without hesitation. It may be the wrong thing to do but I care more about my children than doing the right thing. I will always do whatever I can to protect them.
