Ok so you feel that you’re treated second in this country because these men who aren’t British-born leer at you and make you feel uncomfortable but British men don’t make these comments towards you?
I just want to be clear what the actual problem is because obviously it’s an extremely important topic and it’s important voices are heard and concerns acknowledged.
I have not said anything about anyone being racist and I wouldn’t unless they actually say something racist.
The government leaflets are a silly argument for anyone to make.
Every work place has a sexual harassment policy, just like those leaflets - because some men don’t know how to behave appropriately.
If it was only non-British men who acted inappropriately towards women then we wouldn’t need workplace sexual harassment policies, leaflets and posters in universities, pubs, clubs and workplaces, prison sentences and we wouldn’t have prisons full of rapists.
The majority of toilets in pubs, restaurants and hospitals etc - will have ‘ask for Angela’ posters telling you to ask for help if you feel unsafe.
The information in these leaflets are given to British men in some form on a regular basis - yet for some reason people are upset that they’re also given to immigrants to this country - should they not be given the same information as our men are?
Or are they allowed to act inappropriately towards women?
