Any one else worried about the rise of the far right in Europe. Churchill once said ‘those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it’. Obviously social conditions are different from the 1930s, but there are similarities such as using immigrants as scapegoats (not Jews this time). Things can so easily escalate and I admit to being worried

Not every child in your daughter’s class will speak 10 languages. Schools in the UK should encourage children to speak the language of their own country in general, unless they’re taking part in language classes such as French/Spanish etc. education in the UK isn’t great, without introducing 10 languages, which will also lead to peer exclusion if a child doesn’t have a grasp of multiple foreign languages. Let’s be honest, the reason different languages are spoken in general in a work/school environments are between people/children who share that language, to exclude others.

All attendees were probably advised to wear black for that particular demo because it interferes with identification if everyone looks the same. They could all wear purple as long as they are all dressed the same.

So what. No placards inciting hate and murder, no looting, no fires. Wearing black should not have you shaking in your shoes.

There were clearly hiding any identifying features/clothing lest they get harassed and doxxed. Sadly as we've seen on this very thread objecting to hundreds of men arriving illegally Is 'right wing'.

You misunderstood my post: counting all the languages spoken in total by the kids in the class, you'd get about 10 or so - collectively! Of course no child speaks 10! But that was to highlight the actual diversity and breadth of linguistic and cultural knowledge that my DD is growing up with through her friends. As I said, now those kids with some degree of foreign heritage are at an age where they all speak and write perfect English and the school does extremely well in SATs every year.
Edit to add: all the kids speak English amongst themselves anyway, that's their common language.

They’ve been teaching British values for years.

Schools have a legal duty to teach them as part of the national curriculum and are assessed on them by ofsted.

Students are even asked by ofsted what these values are and you are also usually asked at interview.

This has been in place for at least 10 years and I’ve not heard any complaints from people not born here.

I’m not sure what speaking a second language has to do with British Values. You can still follow British values whilst knowing multiple languages.

You are deluded if you expect Reform to be professional about anything. Just over the last few days, their leader has dismissed two loyal members of staff as consultants (to save himself), told conference delegates and the media that the police told him to postpone his speech because of security concerns (they didn't), publicly mocked a woman while she was beaten up by members of his party (seconded onnSky News by Robert Jenrick, father to two daughters), and appeared in a sting being bullish about £30,000 of foreign money funding opinion research favourable to Reform (and nodding happily at talk of a further £500,000 coming Reform's way).

You realise people of all political leanings can be horrified at a murder, right? They can also not agree with the victims beliefs, but still be horrified at violence, you do understand that?

Also, I believe this is a scenario completely made up by yourself, so maybe have a look at where your internalised prejudice and hate is coming from.

Please do not compare Charlie Kirk to a paedophile. One is a criminal and deserves no respect obviously the other was a massive free speech advocate and was murdered. He deserves respect.

They don't really give a toss about how those men were dressed. It's not the colour of the clothes they are triggered by. They still presume every single one of them were white so they can't be that triggered if they took a good look to be focused on their skin colour.

What's happening to them in your ideal world? When is the ideal world created by mass immigration going to appear?

If Reform get in at the next election, it will be because a majority of people in the UK who have real concerns about immigration, feel that they are not being listened to. People cannot dismiss the concerns of a majority of voters just because they don’t agree with them. Labour have a choice, either listen and be proactive about immigration, or just arrogantly ignore the masses. If Reform get in, then the only people to blame are the government. There would be no place in British politics for parties like Reform if the Government did what they are elected to do, which is to listen to voters instead of blindly implementing their own ideology.
