AIBU to be deeply concerned about the sheer number of unchecked undocumented unknown men coming into the UK?

This is some dystopian lord of the flies hell. Those poor women. Burned on the boat. Wth. Poor man stabbed to death. Why are the people that did this then going to be roaming free in the UK? Why are they allowed to enter the UK in the first place? Why are gangs not being 'smashed'?

Why won't the government tell us the truth about their crime rates?

AIBU to be deeply concerned about the sheer number of unchecked undocumented unknown men coming into the UK.

Channel chaos as migrant dies, two women burned and one stabbed on same boat

Forty-five of those on board continued towards the UK and were picked up by a British rescue vessel.

I can't find it now but a poster above blamed the UK leaving the EU for the current situation.

How would that explain the mass immigration and associated higher rape and sex crime statistics in many EU countries? Please explain.

Cover if you will
Germany
Italy
Sweden
Denmark (though they prob aren't on the EU either can't remember)
Norway
France

Thanks.

Why don’t you link the same story from a different media outlet (not daily mail or the sun) and compare them.

I have. Some other sources say there are 97,519 people in taxpayer funded accommodation.

If you believe this you're utterly delusional. Facts don't bear this out. Please get offf social media. The algorithms are designed to make you worried, angry, stressed. They feed you false information and have literally been designed to rage bait people because it keeps you coming back and watching/scrolling more. The only people it benefits is the tech oligarchs who keep getting richer and malign actors who want to spread hate and division.

I'm not at all convinced this is true. The Express is just reporting that the Mail has claimed this. There are no details about how the women got burned. There's nothing about it in any other press. Coincidentally, two women were burned in a boat fire in Ontario this week. Could the Mail possibly have got its facts mixed up? Wouldn't be the first time.

Algorithms need to be banned!!!

It is literally brainwashing people and it’s scary because common sense seems to go out of the window.

I’m fully in support of social media being banned for under 16s and think it should be restricted for adults too.

…yet another thread about migrant crime rates, that’s 3 in 3 days. Almost like a concerted campaign…..

OP the views you are after are all on the other thread (the first was deleted). Nothing new will come from this one, so suggest you stick with that.

I think people are getting to the end of their tether.

You should have to pass a basic intelligence test before you can use it

It’s a bloody joke and they don’t even know the true numbers…. It’s very scary as British will be a minority at this rate….

So neither you nor anyone else knows the "true numbers", yet you can still assert British will be a minority "at this rate"?

And Reformists/right-whingers have the temerity to complain when they get called out for their stupidity...

Sav34 · 30/08/2026 11:23

I don't understand why people aren't worried.

KatiePricesKnickers · 30/08/2026 11:24

There’s a lot of gaslighting and veiled comments on anyone being concerned about the illegal immigration being racist.

I agree with a poster from the now hidden thread, the sooner the illegals and asylum seekers are distributed into ‘burbs and middle class areas the better.

Your anger needs to be directed at the traffickers who sell these people a dream and make it seem that they can come here and set up a life for their families to safely come over.

Multiple people die on these journeys every time.
Even those who survive are usually severely dehydrated and have infections.
Women and children are less likely to do these journeys because they are the ones most likely to die.

I don’t think anyone should go to any country undocumented and we cannot take in millions of immigrants now we have left the EU and less people can emigrate.

However, it’s not the desperate people risking their lives on boats to provide for their women and children back home that I feel any anger towards.

We cremate bodies in this country every day so I don’t get the faux concern when you’re obviously not that upset about it.

People who arrive here 'undocumented' are coming from failed states ie often no birth certificates, no passports eg
Somalia - civil war no central Government control
South Sudan - ongoing internal conflic
Yemen - severe humanitarian crises, prolonged conflict
Syria - years of civil war, destroyed public systems
Democratic Republic of the Congo - internal violence, lack of basic governmental delivery
Afghanistan - years of fighting, civil war, appalling civil rights
etc, etc.
People from such states are desperate. They often have family members who've been killed, are starving, have nowhere to live, fear for their children etc.
What would you do in such situations?

You would try to escape surely but you have elderly parents maybe, or young children. So you send on ahead members of the family who are most likely to survive the perils of a long uncertain journey, risks of starvation, long treks through hostile counties, to seek for help and establish a safe home.

They are leaving because they can't stay and /or are totally at odds with the political regimes they come from. Not because they are fully in support of them!
BTW the offending rates of asylum seekers are similar but a little below those of the rest of the UK.

Asylum seekers are people of resource, want to work. need to work. We should be allowing them to do so not keeping them in poverty for years on end. There are lots of jobs where there are shortages eg Government Skilled Workers shortage list. Other countries allow them to work.
Australia, Canada, Sweden, Portugal - right to work almost immediately.
Germany ditto after 3 months
Belgium ditto 4 months
USA, Netherlands ditto 6 months.

Another anti immigration thread dressed up as faux concern for women. Like you really care.

Just for you 🙂

  • Dispersal & Regular Housing: More than 69,000 to 73,000 people live in houses, apartments, or houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) managed by private contractors.
  • Hotels: Around 16,000 to 32,000 people remain housed in hotels depending on the specific seasonal data updates, which is down significantly from a peak of over 56,000 in 2023.

Yes, yes, yes. You're merely a concerned citizen. Absolutely.

Yes I am, why is that hard to believe? Should I just keep my trap shut and ignore the effects of uncontrolled immigration on our country like the left want, don’t think so.

Coincidentally, two women were burned in a boat fire in Ontario this week. Could the Mail possibly have got its facts mixed up? Wouldn't be the first time.

Not to mention that there are multiple reports of deaths and injuries as a result of French riot police (funded by the UK) trying to stop people boarding the boats with burn injuries specifically cited to be a result of police intervention. But let's gloss over this fact and imagine instead that someone set women on fire while at sea...

Stay in the first safe country and not risk another dangerous journey and risk drowning in the channel to escape the safety of France

Don’t be so ridiculous. Fortunately the days of the left shutting down any unease and concern about the huge numbers of people, particularly men, who have no desire to integrate and whose cultures are incompatible with Western values are over.

Agreed. And they are struggling with that, and getting even more vicious / unhinged.
